The week had went by fairly fast. It was too fast for Akk's liking. When he woke up and saw the date he was hit with a sudden wave of anxiety and stress. He hurriedly got out of bed and began to hide some of his more important things. He didn't trust Yok. Sure it had been years since he had see him but Akk still remembered the days when Yok would be caught stealing from their parents.
Akk was afraid of what his brother would say. He couldn't help but wonder if is brother would hate him still. Akk wondered what Yok had been up to all these years. He was still a criminal thats for sure. He knew for a fact Yok would never change. He would always be that same shitty person who never followed a single rule. In Akk's eyes Yok would always be a rude violent liar.
"Why are you up so early?" Ayan mumled sleepily.
"I have to hide some stuff so Yok won't steal it." Akk said." Knowing him he probably owes money to people."
Ayan got out of bed and dragged Akk to sit down.
"You can't judge him so harshly. I saw all his texts to you. It's very clear he cares about you." Ayan said.
"He doesn't care about anyone Ayan!! Since we were kids he's only cared about himself!" Akk shouted." He was always treating everyone terribly. I got the worst of it. He once had me go out into the deep parts of the shore before I knew how to swim."
"You were kids then. Does that change the fact what he did hurt you? No it doesn't but you should try to give him a chance." Ayan said.

Yok had been awake all night worrying about everything. He didn't know how to face Akk. He was still so jealous of Akk. Deep down he was still so upset that everyone always compared him to Akk. As long as he could remember he was always told he should behave more like Akk. That he should study more and give up art.
Yok leaned across his bed and grabbed his sketch book and charcol. He flipped to an empty page and began to sketch. He wasn't entirely sure what he was going to make but his mind kept wandering to his parents home. So that's what he decided to sketch. Yok didn't really like sketching landscapes. He prefered portraits and political protest pieces. Lately though he hadn't wanted to draw either. It reminded him too much of Dan.
After months of trying to make a relationship work with Dan, Yok gave up and decided to distance himself. As much as it hurt to do he couldn't stay with Dan when he was still stuck in those same ideals and beliefs. Yok knew it was hard to change beliefs which is why he wasn't so hard on Dan. He told Dan that once he figured out what he truly wanted to do in life then maybe they could try again.
Yok sighed and set his sketchbook to the side. He could always finish it later. Reluctantly he got a clean shirt and pants before going to take a shower. He wanted to look somewhat presentable when he went to see Akk. In his mind he knew that Akk would most likely judge every little thing about him and as much as Yok didn't want to admit it scared him. Yok could careless about what society and his parents thought of him but it was different with Akk. Despite being older Yok wanted Akk's approval.
He stayed in the shower until he was shivering from the water that had long since run cold. Yok carefully got out of the shower and began to get dressed. He didn't really know when he should show up to Akk's place. Ayan had never told him a specific time so Yok assumed he could go whenever.
Once he finished getting ready he texted Ayan that he was heading over. Hopefully Akk would forgive him for everything he had done in the past.

Akk kept checking to see if Yok had arrived. He truly hoped Yok would not show up but unfortunately he did show up. Akk tried to run and hide in the bathroom but was stopped by Ayan.
"Sit back down. You need to give him a chance." Ayan said.
"This is your fault. You just had to invite him here." Akk muttered.
Before Ayan could respond Yok knocked on the door.
"Don't you dare open that door." Akk said.
Ayan of course ignored him and let Yok inside. Akk refused to look at Yok. He knew if he did he would start crying. It was one thing he hated about himself. He was overly emotional and would cry at anything if he wasn't actively supressing his emotions. Yok on the other hand was just awkwardly standing in the center of the room while trying to think of something to say.
"Is this really how you two are going to be? You just aren't going to look at each other or speak to each other?" Ayan said.
Yok and Akk didn't say anything but they did finally look at each other. Akk began to tear up as he stared at Yok. Yok rushed over to Akk and hugged him close while crying quietly.
"It's okay..." Yok mumbled as he tried to comfort Akk.
"I hate you! Why did you leave?!?" Akk cried.
Yok didn't know what to say so he just held Akk close to him while letting him scream at him. He let Akk say he hates him and call him various names. Yok knew it was just all the emotions talking. He knew Akk didn't hate him but it still hurt.
"I... I'm sorry... For everything Akk." Yok said quietly.
