The Wishbone!

Ash and Chloe have been dating for a while now but they haven't gone up to being boyfriend and girlfriend. Tonight Ash's family, Goh's family and Chloe's family have all gathered at Cerise Labs for Thanksgiving dinner. While The adults prepared dinner and Chloe watched Parker play on his switch, Ash and Goh were outside trying to break the wishbone.

"So why are we doing this again?" Ash asked Goh.

"It's a tradition Ash, whoever has the bigger part of the bone when it breaks gets a wish" Goh answered.

"Oh that's pretty cool!" Ash said.

Ash ended up getting the bigger part of the bone.

"Quick Ash, make a wish! Goh said.

"I wish-" Ash began to say. "Don't say it out loud!" Goh said.

"Oh sorry," Ash said.

"I wish me and Chloe would go to the next level." Ash thought to himself.

Chloe had been hesitant to go from dating to boyfriend and girlfriend as she didn't want to rush things while Ash was getting a little impatient. 

"Ok I'm done." Ash said not really believing in the wishbone.

The wishbone's magic started to alter Chloe's mind.

"Say Parker Ash isn't my boyfriend yet but I want him to be, but I'm too nervous since I could be rushing things." Chloe said.

"I mean what changes, you too will still act the same toward each other, there's no ceremony or anything if you do ask him, I say go for it" Parker said.

"Thanks little bro". Chloe said.

"Boys time for dinner!" Delia called to Ash and Goh.

"Coming!" Ash said.

Ash saw how Chloe looked like she had a serious conversation with Parker. Ash saw as Chloe looked at him with curiosity? Was it the wishbone? No it's just a coincidence. Ash convinced himself.

While they ate dinner everyone was saying what they were thankful for, Ash saw how Chloe snuck glances at him but said nothing. Then it was Ash's turn.

 "I'm thankful for my mom, my friends, my Pokemon, food and Chloe!" Ash said.

"Aw! Ash, thank you!" Chloe said, hugging Ash.

After dinner, Professor Cerise used his computer to start up some music and everyone started dancing and Ash and Chloe danced together. Ash saw how comfortable Chloe was as she cuddled into him almost right after they started dancing.

Afterward Ash and Chloe were outside.

"So Ash I was thinking maybe we should go to the next level of our relationship." Chloe said.

"Oh? And what do you mean by that?" Ash said.

"Ummmm, Ash, will you be my boyfriend?" Chloe blurted out.

"I would love to." Ash said.

Ash and Chloe then kissed in the moonlight.

"I guess that wish did come true, wishbones are real!" Ash thought to himself.

"Sorry It took so long, my insecurities got the best of me." Chloe said with a slight giggle.

"No worries." Ash said, smiling.
