A Holiday Present Friendzy!

It's the day before Christmas Eve and Ash, Goh and Chloe and their Families have gathered at Cerise Labs for Christmas.

"Oh Ash I can't believe it's going to be our Christmas together!" Chloe said.

"Yeah it's pretty exciting." Ash said.

"I can't wait to show you your gift!" Chloe said excitedly.

"O-Oh.... u-uh yeah, same here." Ash said nervously.

The truth was that Ash had looked in every store and couldn't find anything that would be a good gift for Chloe all month long.

 Ash left the room to go talk with someone who might help, his mother Delia.

"Mom, I need some help!" Ash said.

"What's wrong sweetie?" Delia asked.

"I can't find any gifts for Chloe." Ash said sadly.

"Oh honey, gifts aren't always about buying nice things for people, you can always make her something." Delia said.

"Maybe, but tomorrow I'll check the stores again, maybe I'll find something there," Ash said.

"Alright honey, just remember what I said." Delia said.

"I will." Ash responded.

The next day Ash tried going to the local plaza he checked daily only to find out that it was closed due to it being Christmas Eve.

"What do I do now?!?!" Ash said in a panic.

Ash frantically searched all the stores around Vermilion but found that all stores were closed except one restaurant.

"Well maybe I can at least get her a gift card." Ash said, disappointed.

Ash walked inside to find a couple sitting at a table nearby.

"Well babe I might as well confess, I couldn't find anything to give you so I made your gift!" The man said while holding a homemade gift in his hands.

"Aw babe I love it!." The woman said.

"Hmm, Maybe I should take Mom's advice," Ash said, leaving the restaurant.

The next day, Everyone was sharing their gifts with their family and friends.

"Hey babe! Merry Christmas!" Chloe said Hugging Ash.

"Merry Christmas baby." Ash said. "I have something to tell you".

"Sure babe what's up?" Chloe asked.

"So I haven't had the best luck getting you a gift, I got the gifts for the others just fine but with you I didn't know what gift you would like the most." Ash confessed.

"Babe, you should've told me." Chloe said.

"I didn't want to make it obvious by asking you," Ash said. "Anyway I checked all the stores in town and they were all closed so I decided.." Ash began to say.

Ash then pulled out a small bunch of flowers wrapped together with a ribbon and said,

"Making you something would be better, so I went to a nearby lake where these flowers were, and my mom helped me put it together to make your gift" Ash said while holding out the flowers to Chloe.

"Oh Ash it's beautiful" Chloe said, taking the flowers and kissing Ash. "Thank you".

"So, can I see my gift?" Ash asked.

"Oh yeah I'm sure you'll love it!" Chloe said, holding out a very familiar looking plant over their heads.

"M-Mistletoe!?!?" Ash said before getting pulled in by Chloe.

Everyone had dinner and slept peacefully, Ash felt satisfied that he was able to make Chloe happy before falling asleep.
