Chapter 5

◇A week later◇

"There you go, Taehyung! You're getting better each practice." Jungkook praised proudly as Taehyung smoothly completed a spin in the air.

Taehyung smiled. "I spun two times, Jungkook! I'm closer to the triple spin!"

"You are, I'm impressed, Taehyung. Remember your balance as well," Jungkook added.

Taehyung gently moved on the ice. "Can we practice the leg lifting move?"

"Of course. Let's see if you remember the move." Jungkook teased.

"Watch me," Taehyung smirked, checking his balance before he began to move on the ice

Taehyung began to spin around, his leg up gracefully as he completed the move.

"Tae! You did it!" Jungkook yelled in surprise, his expression full of joy.

Taehyung gasped, he actually did that leg lifting move! Oh my gosh-

"Gah! Oof!" Taehyung wheezed out, he had been too excited and didn't know how to stop the move, making him fall to the ground.

"Are you okay, Taehyung?!" Jungkook asked worriedly, quickly sliding over to the latter.

"I-I'm okay!! I just can't believe I did it! I haven't completed the triple spin, but this is still huge!"

"I told you it just took patience," Jungkook chuckled.

Taehyung giggled, and hugged Jungkook, he was happy his hard work was paying off, he was getting closer to his goal. Jungkook's eyes widened in disbelief from the hug, yet he nevertheless smiled widely and hugged Taehyung back.

That's when Taehyung realized they were hugging.

Taehyung quickly broke off the embrace with a sheepish grin. "S-Sorry, I just got excited..."

"I don't mind, Taehyung. I'm very happy for you. We should celebrate," Jungkook suggested.

"We can't celebrate until I complete each move perfectly," Taehyung states, sliding on the ice again.

"Come on, Taehyung. Let's relax for the rest of the practice, it'll be nice!" Jungkook tried to persuade.

"Jungkook, the event is literally next week, I can't stop now." Taehyung said firmly.

"Please, Taehyung, there's a winter festival today, I wanted to..."

"Wanted to what?"

"...take you with me."

Taehyung skidded to a stop on the ice, shock expressed across his face. "Wait...what?"

Jungkook looked down, shyly messing with his fingers, Taehyung has never seen him so flustered.

"I...thought it would be nice to hangout at the festival...they have games and food!" Jungkook gulped nervously.

Taehyung would've giggled if he wasn't so shocked, Jungkook wanted to hangout with again with him, it felt so weird to have someone other than his friend want to be with him. Especially since Jungkook was a celebrity, why would Jungkook want to hangout with him?
