Chapter 10

◇5 years later◇

"Kookie, can you get Areum's backpack please?" Taehyung shouted from the kitchen as he prepared his 8-year-old daughter's lunch.

"Already got it!" Jungkook smiled as he walked into the living room with Areum holding his hand.

Taehyung smiled widely, turning around to hand his daughter her lunch box. "Ready for school, sweetheart?"

Areum gleamed gleefully. "Yes, dad!"

"Alright, let's get going then. Oh, and remember we'll be picking you up a bit early so you can get ready for your gymnastics class."

"Okay, dad." Areum nodded, following both of her dads outside and into the car.

"Were you able to meet up with Jimin, Bear?" Jungkook asked his lover as he drove them to Areum's elementary school.

"Yup! I haven't seen him in forever," Taehyung pouted.

Jungkook chuckled. "You literally saw him a week ago!"

"Well, it feels longer since he lives so far away!" Taehyung defended himself, Jimin lived in Daegu still while Taehyung and Jungkook moved to Seoul four years ago.

"Well, I'm happy you were able to see him. How's he doing?"

"He's doing good, he's been excelling well in the model industry, my best friend is such a diva." Taehyung grinned proudly.

"I agree." Jungkook nodded.

"Other than that, he's doing well. He's been telling me about his boyfriend, Min Yoongi."

"Isn't he that famous hockey player??" Jungkook guessed.

"Mhmm, he seems nice. But I don't know he personally so I plan on meeting him next time I see Jimin." Taehyung noted.

"Well, I hope that goes good, Bear." Jungkook said as he parked at the entrance of the elementary school.

Taehyung smiled at his husband. "Thanks, Kookie," then he turned to his daughter, "ready to go, baby?"

"Yes, dad!" Areum giggled, getting out of the car with Taehyung's help.

Jungkook got out as well, kneeling down to kiss Areum's soft hair. "Have a good day, Areum. Make sure to be nice and do your work."

"I will, daddy!" Areum nodded, standing on her tiptoes to peck her daddy's cheek.

Jungkook caressed his daughter's hair gently before Taehyung held Areum's hand and walked her to the front entrance.

"Alright baby, remember to pay attention in class, and tell the teacher if you need anything, okay? Daddy and I will be back soon to pick you up." Taehyung affirmed, kneeling down to smile at his daughter.

"Okay, dad! Thank you, I love you." Areum beamed, hugging her father tightly.

Taehyung smiled softly, kissing his daughter's cheek. "I love you more, sweetheart. Have a good day!" He said as he watched his daughter walk into the school safely.
