Chapter 7

◇A few days later◇

"Tae, stop pacing so much, Mom will love Jungkook." Jin tried to reassure his nervous younger brother, who was pacing the living room while he waited.

"What if she doesn't? I know she's new to all of this, what if it's too overwhelming?" Taehyung wondered frantically.

Just as Jin was about to say something, a knock was heard on the front door.

"I guess we'll find out," Jin chuckled as he went to answer the door.

Taehyung exhaled slowly, regaining his posture as he smoothed his freshly ironed shirt and followed after his brother.

"Hey, Jungkook! Good to see you again!" Jin exclaimed, smiling as he let Jungkook inside the apartment.

"You too Jin hyung, I never got to thank you for introducing me to Taehyung. That lead me to lots of happiness." Jungkook claimed, glancing over at Taehyung with a twinkle in his eyes, making the latter blush.

Jin chuckled knowingly. "I can see."

"Oh, also, Namjoon asked me to say hi to you, hyung. He hopes to hangout with you besides at school." Jungkook grinned.

A light blush decorated Jin's cheeks. "I would like that."

"Is Jungkook-ah here, boys?" Miss Kim asked, stepping into the living room.

Jungkook bowed deeply to her. "Hello Miss Kim. It's very nice to meet you, thank you for having me over."

"Of course, I'd love to meet the boy my TaeTae has been talking about." She teased.

"M-Mom! Nothing embarrassing yet!" Taehyung hissed, his cheeks flushing.

"Alright, alright. Come on in, Jungkook. Let's sit down in the kitchen," Miss Kim beckoning the boys over.

Jin went ahead of them while Jungkook reached forward and grabbed Taehyung's hand gently.

Taehyung smiled sweetly at him. "Are you nervous, Jeon?"

"Just a bit," Jungkook admitted, chuckling nervously.

Taehyung leaned over to peck his cheek. "Don't be nervous, you'll do fine."

"Thank you, also, you look very dashing tonight." Jungkook smiled warmly.

Taehyung blushed deeply. "Thank you, so do you."

Once the two stopped flirting, they entered the dining room where Miss Kim and Jin were waiting.

"Please, sit and relax, Jungkook. Jin and I will get some drinks." Miss Kim said.

"Do you need help with anything?" Jungkook asked politely.

"No, it's alright. You sit and relax before your date." Miss Kim winked then walked off into the kitchen where Jin was.

Jungkook turned to grin at Taehyung. "I still don't know where we're going for our date,"

Taehyung smirked. "A surprise it will stay."
