[The next day]

High in the trees, the birds chirped their morning tune, its soft melody not soothing the rushing bodies inside the apartment building.

"Tae, did you eat breakfast?" Miss Kim asked as she flitted around the living room in a hurry.

"Yes, mom," Taehyung replied, gulping down a piece of toast.

"Jin, did you get your allowance yet?"

"No, mom," Jin answered, securing his school bag on his shoulder.

"Here you go, use it wisely." She ordered then patted Taehyung's head. "Make mommy proud TaeTae." She said and kissed his cheek, hugged Jin, then hurried off to her work shift.

"Ready, Tae?" Jin asked after they locked the front apartment door.

"Mhmm." Taehyung nodded while yawning, trying to rub the tiredness out of his eyes. They reached their car and drove through the misty morning to the sports complex.

"I'll be here at 6 pm sharp and be careful, don't let your temper ruin your skating." Jin grinned as he patted his brother's head.

"Thanks, hyung." Taehyung smiled then jumped out of the car and entered the complex.

Usually, only the ice skaters practiced in the morning and more students would come later in the day. Since Taehyung's class didn't start until noon, he instructed the younger ice skaters class with his best friend Park Jimin. Taehyung has known Jimin since he started his ice skating career, they both were new and young. They were the same age, however Taehyung didn't like Jimin at first since their first encounter, they fought over a dumpling.

But, after training and working together, the two males ended up becoming really close friends. Jimin was the only person who didn't tease or make fun of Taehyung, well, maybe a little teasing when they remembered the dumpling incident.

Other than that, Jimin was the only person Taehyung trusted with his life and loved as a brother. Jimin helped him in many ways, how to skate better, and how to make a better bowl of rice, he also helped Taehyung when he discovered he was bisexual. Moreover, Jimin was a wonderful soul and Taehyung's best friend.

Lost in his thoughts, Taehyung entered the ice rink and sat on one of the benches, doing some stretching plus breathing exercises.

It wasn't long before he felt someone hug his back.

"Good morning, Tae! You're here early," Jimin said with a bright smile.

"Yeah, Jin hyung had to drop me off early cause he had a class earlier today," Taehyung explained, his hands tying his skates.

"Good morin' TaeTae!" A little voice giggled.

Taehyung smiled, glancing over at Jimin's 12-year-old sister. "Morning Cindy, how are you?"

"How come I don't get a good morning?" Jimin pouted, letting go of Taehyung to show his puppy eyes.

"It just means he likes me better than you, hyungie." Cindy grinned sassily, putting her ice skates on.

Taehyung laughed while Jimin teasingly tugged on his sister's ponytails.
