Bucky's tattooed arm was a comforting weight against Addisons stomach.

His soft breaths fanned against her neck, the glow of her phone illuminating her face. She stared at the little lock by her username. Months ago she wouldn't have hesitated to press that button to make her account public once again. But now fear was resting in the pit of her stomach, if she made the account public, she was allowing Bucky's fans a special look into her private life. But she didn't want the world to think they bullied her into hiding, and she didn't want to keep hiding the relationship she loved to be in. She could turn off comments, she could turn off dm's. She could still protect herself from the harsh words of the fanbase.

You're going to keep letting them win, the little voice in the back of her head was suddenly loud, her stomach dropping at the thought, or you can show them that he's yours as well as theirs.

Her heart was thundering in her chest, the erratic thump echoing in her ears. With a deep breath, Addison pressed the button to remove the privacy on her account, the follower count rose, her throat tightening as she awaited the flood of messages. Bucky's arm tightened around her in his sleep, head dipping closer to her neck. The touch was comforting, even if he didn't know what was happening. Addison smiled as the fire crackled in the marble in the left corner of the room, The Breakfast Club resting on the screen in front of her. This was as close to home as she could get. With all the change, Bucky had made sure she had little moments to grasp onto, and while he broke her, he put her back together.

They were laying on top the sheets, Bucky's old tattered hoodie covering to her upper thigh, he was shirtless, sweatpants resting low on his hips. He shifted, rolling to his back and bringing Addison with him, her leg resting over his stomach while his hand curled around her thigh, pushing the hoodie up higher on her hip, black lace peaking out from the bottom of the sweatshirt. She brought her phone up, capturing the moment in a photo, the fire in the background, Bucky's hand claiming her. She felt her heart swell because he loved her, the realization settling. James Bucky Barnes was in love with a girl from Cincinnati and she couldn't be happier.

She decided to post the photo, captioning it with you are my home.

And while she waited for the flood of hate to pour in, she soaked in the last peaceful moments. The wind was howling outside, a rare rain storm settling over Los Angeles, heavy gray clouds making the outside world completely dark. The crackle of the fire reminded her of times back home, back before her life imploded. She was just a girl back then, just trying to make it. She was heartbroken at that first concert and because of that pain, she was resting in the arms of someone who truly deserved her heart. Who made a mistake but instantly tried to make it better. Bucky was really her home, they could be anywhere in the world and the steadfast feeling of his arms around her would be home.

Taking a deep breath, she picked her phone back up, bracing herself for the comments.
