The sun piercing the blinds finally brought Bucky out of his slumber.

His eyes finally pried open, hands coming up to rub his face only freezing when he didn't recognize the room he was in. There was no fireplace, no gentle hum of the television, and the worst part was there was no Addison in the bed. He made a massive mistake, he knew that before he even rolled over to see the red head beside him. He was going to throw up, there's no way he just fucked up his relationship this badly again, Addison was going to leave him, how could he blame her? All she ever tried to do was love him, yet all he continued to do was fuck it up.

Scrambling out of bed, he reached for his phone, recoiling at the notifications on his phone.

@howliecommandos: I don't even like Addison all that much but that wasn't cool. You were supposed to be loyal

@Baddisonfanpage: How could you? She left everything for you

@Bbfansunited: are we sure it wasn't his girlfriend? What if she dyed her hair?

@Baddisonfanpage replying to @Bbfansunited: She was photographed with him when they arrived, her hair is still blonde

@weloveBuckyBarnes: Please tell us this isn't true, this isn't you

Bucky wanted to let out a sob as he threw his shirt back on, immediately pressing Addison's phone number while he ran down the stairs. He had no idea where he was, but he needed to get home, he needed to face her and convince her to stay. Bucky was never a person who put his heart out there, never trusted himself to stay loyal. But he wanted to, he wanted to be the perfect boyfriend. Addison knew he would never intentionally hurt her, Bucky never set out to break her heart. All he did was let his inhibitions get in the way, and now he couldn't remember if he actually hooked up with the girl in that bed, or if it was just him coming to her house and falling asleep. In reality, it didn't matter, he woke up in a bed that wasn't his own, with a woman that wasn't his girlfriend.

The ringing went on for what felt like ages before the line clicked over.

"I don't want to hear it," Addison's voice was clipped, a sniffle echoing in his ear as he took in his surroundings, sending Ryder his location.

"Baby please," Bucky choked out, her heartbreak was palpable, he felt like his own heart was shattering, "just stay there until I get home, I'll be there soon."

"Where am I supposed to go?" Addison lashed out, Bucky instantly recoiling again at the sharpness in her tone, "did you forget that you drug me across the country because you couldn't live without me," the latter half of her sentence sounded venomous to Bucky, "or did you forget that when you were in between someone else's legs?"

He deserved that, but he couldn't stop the way the words were delivered like daggers into his heart.

"Baby,"

"Stop, I don't want to hear it right now, I barely want to look at you, but I have no other choice."

She hung up immediately, not whispering a word of goodbye, not saying she loved him, she just completely shut him out again.

And while he knew that he deserved it, the words were still painful to him, it felt like her words were knives and lashing his body from the inside out. Bucky knew if Addison left he would crumble, she was his rock, and if he had to get back on his knees begging for her, he would do it again without question. If it meant that she stayed, he'd give up the nights out, the drugs, the drinking. Bucky would reform himself if it meant that Addison was still in his arms at the end of the night. But he knew, as soon as he walked through the door of his mansion, a war would start, and he wasn't sure if he'd come out on top.
