"Inuyasha, get back here!"

Ignoring Kagome's pleas, Inuyasha focused on Sesshomaru and jumps at him with his claws.

Is Inuyasha insane?! Your mind screamed.

You watched Inuyasha attack on the man carrying you while having Kilala in your arms. Though the demon lord dodged the hanyō's attack at the nick of time, safely landing at a far distance from his stepbrother. Sesshomaru was calm on the outside but irritated in his mind, especially his beast.

"Inuyasha, you do realize you could've injured the miko's companion." He spoke calmly, yet with disappointment and anger.

"I knew that, Sesshomaru." Inuyasha retorted, "But to me, you're just holding Y/n and Kilala hostage!"

He charged at Sesshomaru again, but was interrupted by a command.

"Sit boy!"

Instantly, the hanyō's body was smacked down to the ground by force due to the beads hanging around his neck. Growling, he looks up and saw no signs of you, Sesshomaru, Kilala, or Naraku.

"Damn it. Naraku got away," Inuyasha murmured, "and Sesshomaru took Y/n and Kilala with him."

"That may be true," the group turned to Dark Magician as he walks up to them, "but I have dealt with your enemy's clone."

The violet haired male showed them a mini wood doll in his hand, which the item is cut in half. Miroku and Sango sighed with relief while Kagome was worried for your safety. The magician noticed the glum on her face and placed a hand on her shoulder with a small smile, making the reincarnated miko look up to him.

"She will survive, I promise."

Kagome nods as Shippo, in his normal form, looks up at the clear sky with worry. "I hope so."

Meanwhile at an unknown cave, a man was displeased by the Inu lord's intervention to rescue you, but was surprised that his puppet of himself was dealt with a figure he has not seen before. Naraku wonders what kind of being the mysterious man was. Before he could send some of his demon bee spies to keep an eye on the magician, a pair of footsteps approached near the entrance of the cave.

"What is it that you want?" The hanyō growls, not looking at the person who entered.

"Is that really how you greet your ally?" The person in cloak mused with a smirk.

Naraku ignored his guest before seeing Kana, one of his incarnations, come in with a white mirror in her hands.

"What is it, Kana?"

The little girl said nothing as the mirror shows an image of seven items, including the earrings Naraku has saw you wear, with the similar eye on each one of them. The evil hanyō was curious as to why these things were shown on the mirror. Naraku turned to his guest with interest.
