Small Interaction with the Inu Lord, Reunion with Friends and Allies

You sighed as you were resting your bare feet in the flowing river. Sesshomaru was resting against a tree, but kept his senses on high alert if anything comes to attack. Kilala lightly whined with worry as you looked at her, softly petting her fur.

"I know, Kilala. I miss them too," you spoke.

The nekotama purred before you turned to the Inu lord. "Lord Sesshomaru, may I ask you a question?"

He slowly opens his eyes before closing them again, "...You may speak."

"Why did you save me?"

Sesshomaru opens his eyes as he slowly gets up from his seating spot. The Inu lord walks over to you as you turned to him with a gulp. Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed as he knelt down to your level, slowly making his hand move to your face. Your cheeks went warm as you felt his hand gently touching your cheek.

"I do not know myself," he answered as he continued to caressed your face, "but I have my own reasons."

"L-Like w-what exactly?" You stuttered.

Noticing this, Kilala went into small form as she quietly leave the scene before her while finding a spot to rest. Sesshomaru then moved his hand from your cheek to your chin. He gently lifts up your face as his eyes faced yours. You were lost in his eyes as Sesshomaru slowly went near to your face.

"L-Lord S-Sesshomaru?"

The Inu lord stayed silent as his face was close to yours. You felt your cheeks turning lightly more red as his eyes looked down at your lips. Knowing what he was doing, you quickly began to speak.

"Y-You're too c-close, m-milord." You told him.

Realizing what you'd said, he held out a hidden smirk. "You don't mind if I'm this close to you?" He asked.

Your face soon turned red as you couldn't figure out what to say. Sesshomaru mentally grinned as he felt his beast demanding him to kiss you. The Inu lord didn't argue with the beast inside him as his lips connected with yours.

A part of you wanted to squirm your way out of this, but your heart and mind refused as you gently kissed him back. The kiss between you and him went for a minute or two as your face slowly backed away from his. Opening your eyes, you looked at him with a small smile.

"Would that be o-one of your r-reasons?" You asked.

"...Maybe." He said with a small smile.

You blinked but smiled as you went up your feet. Your earrings began to glow as your current clothes was changed to the kimono you wore at the Feudal Era, along with a pair of long white socks, and a pair of geta. Fortunately, you still had your duel disk on your wrist. Smiling, you looked over to Sesshomaru.

"Shall we go?"

The Inu lord nodded as Kilala came out from her hiding spot. The nekotama changed into her mature form with a roar as you chuckled...until your deck began to glow. This startled you three as Sesshomaru looks at you.
