Chapter 4

The Magician and Her Demon Savior

You watched Naraku use his tentacles coming your way to attack as you quickly blocked them with the katana's blade. Another tentacle swiftly approached you but Kilala cuts it off with her claws. Naraku's tactics continued as you and Kilala sliced off of any tentacles that approached you.

This went on for, who knows how long, as your body was slowly getting tired. The demon feline was getting tired as well, making the evil half demon halt his attacks with a smirk.

"Tired already? We only just begun."

"I don't give a damn about it." You growled, making Naraku more amused.

"Well then," he readied his tentacles, "let's see what powers you have in store."

Naraku strikes as you dodged his attacks. The tentacles were getting closer and closer every time you block and dodge them. It was tiring and you have no idea how you're going to get an counter attack.

You didn't notice one of the half demon's tentacles coming from behind and Kilala saved you just in time. But not quick enough as another one grabbed you from behind, making you gasp. Kilala saw this quickly tries to rescue you, but was slapped away by Naraku.

"Kilala!"

The grip was tight as the katana was dropped from your hand. You struggled to escape, but to no avail as Naraku pulled you close to him.

"You're helpless you didn't even use your powers." He chuckled, "Or was it magic?"

"Tsk. Like I have the guts to tell you!" You growled while trying to free yourself from his grip.

"I wouldn't struggle if I were you," Naraku tightened his grip, "or else these tentacles will release miasma to kill you."

Someone...please help me, you pleaded.

Meanwhile, with Inuyasha and the others, Kagome and Shippo were saved and now the group is dealing with the demon troll.

"Grr...every time I use my Wind Scar or Backlash Wave, the troll's skin is hard like iron!" Inuyasha growls.

"Not only that, but I sense some sort of spell coming from it." Miroku informed.

Sango went in defense position while glancing at the monk. "What do you mean, Miroku?"

"If I'm correct, the troll might have some kind of talisman somewhere." The male inquired, "So we have to get rid of the talisman first."

"I agree." Kagome nods, "Miroku, you, Sango, and Shippo can deal with the talisman while Inuyasha and I get the shards."

"Heh. You don't have to tell me twice." Inuyasha said before charging at the troll.

The group splits up with their task at hand. While Inuyasha and Kagome deals with the troll for the Shikon Jewel shards, Sango and Miroku were riding on Shippo's bubble form to find the demon's power source.

"Hey! I think I see something!"

Sango looks down and sees a talisman on the demon's back written in a different language. Miroku looks down as well.
