"Why am I here, Shadi?"

"I'm sorry I interrupted your consciousness with your friends," the male apologized, "but I'm here to tell you about its whereabouts in the land called Japan."

"You mean the Millennium Earrings origin?" You ask.

Shadi nods, "Yes, so let me tell you the truth of the earrings." He then begins telling the story, "When a sorceress named Tara, knew that Egypt would one day be at its end, the Pharaoh had told her to leave the land immediately. Before she could, his last wish was to keep the Millennium Earrings with her at all times. And so Tara soon fled from the immediate chaos of Egypt and set sailed on boat from the Nile to the ongoing sea.

"Not long after, her ship was stumbled upon a shore and some of fishermen found Tara near to death. They soon led her to their elder of the village and sent help to keep her alive her. Few days later, Tara woke up from her slumber and wondered where she was. The elder approached her and told her that she was in Japan." Shadi continues, "Tara couldn't go back to Egypt, so she decided to stay in Japan for a long while. Years later, the sorceress has been protecting from village to village with the help of the Millennium Earrings. The humans in Japan called her sorceress Tara while the demons called her Guardian or Lady Tara."

"And what did she do after that?" You asked, "Settled down with a family or something?"

The male smiled, "After Tara knew the villages were protected, she stumbled upon a demon lord's palace. The demon was an Inu lord, but it's not the current lord you've encountered with."

"You mean...Sesshomaru's father?"

"Yes. When Tara entered the palace of the West, Lord Inu no Taisho immediately placed her as the first human personal guardian of the Inu family. His wife, Lady InuKimi, was happy to see her in person. Tara then began her duty as a guardian sorceress to protect the family until the ends of time. But during her days with the Inu family, she fell in love with a medical doctor; a lion demon named Kyoya.

"The two first met when Tara was injured during a battle. The sorceress and the lion doctor then continued meeting for a few days or so when they were off duty. As time went by, Kyoya confessed his love to Tara. Tara was speechless but accepted his love," Shadi soon frowned, "but sometimes love between demon and human can have risks along the way."

The tone in his voice made you frown as well.

"What happened?"

"When Sesshomaru was just a newborn and grown to a young boy, Tara was abused by some female demon servants." Shadi sighs, "Every time while she was off duty to be with her mate, the servants do mischievous things around the sorceress without Kyoya or the Inu family knowing. But when the son of Inu no Taisho soon saw this, he brought the servants to his mother for interrogation.

"Lady InuKimi soon punished the female servants through either execution or exile from the land of the West, never to return. After that, Tara and Kyoya were married four years later. They soon had two children; one has Kyoya's power and the other has Tara's sorcery."
