"I don't know if this is a good idea. We haven't been there for three years ago," Richard said as he pulled the car into a stop on the side of the high way. Ricky touched his shoulders and looked at him giving him a reassuring look.

"I know your scared, but things changed." Ricky said as she played around with Richards chin in the most loving way possible. "You said it yourself. It's been three years! So, what could possibly happen to us now?"

Richard clenched his jaw and started the car again. He knew he wasn't going to win this one. Ricky sighed, thankful that Richard didn't say anything else.

It's been three years since Ricky was with her friends. Last time she saw them, Ciara was taken to a hospital for treatment and Sam was also taken to a hospital. Ever since the night of their school dance that was supposed to be something special for the girls, but that didn't exactly go as plan. Grandmother Maple was so shocked after she got a phone call from Dylan being informed about the terror of that night, that she immediately packed Ricky's bags. She gave Ricky money and told Ricky to move away. Maple sure didn't plan on Richard moving with Ricky, but Richard wasn't going to just leave Ricky. Richard's parents were to fund but he wasn't taking no for an answer. Maple just needed to get Ricky far away from the town to live life a new way and get some fresh air. However, to this day she can still hear the gun shot of the night Richard shot her "best friend" Francesca. Although his intentions was only to save Ricky that night, she still couldn't process the fact that she watched someone get shot right before her eyes. With that in mind, Ricky didn't hesitate to leave when she had the opportunity.

Just a few months ago, Ciara had reached out to the girls asking them to come over for a reunion. Ricky didn't let that opportunity pass either. Ricky hadn't talked to Ciara ever since and she had also missed her grandmother Maple. Ricky wasn't looking forward to seeing Daniel again, but she sure changed. She wasn't the same Ricky anymore so if Daniel ever tried to touch her, she'd sure show him that she wasn't the one to mess with. Her mind set was like this : If I survived everything I went through, Daniel is the least of my worries.

Richard sighed heavily which broke Ricky out of her thoughts. She looked up and suddenly realized the streets started looking familiar.

"We're only 15 minutes away from Ciara's house." Richard said. You could hear the regret in his voice. He didn't wanna be here at all.

Ricky looked around and realized they were suddenly crossing the same bridge where her and Richard almost drowned together. Ricky took a deep breath trying to relax herself. Richard sensing that she might have a panic attack took her hand and gave it a squeeze.

"I'm here for you."

Ricky closed her eyes and sank back in her chair. One thing was for sure, she really did have Richard...but for how long? People change in a town like this. She would know of course!

"GIFT BASKETS TO YOUR LEFT YOU MORON!"

Ciara was pacing back and forth trying to order the people she hired. She had hired a team to turn her house..well her parents house into a red carpet scene for the girls. She flicked her long hair back as she started running after a worker who was going to place the fruits on the wrong table.

"What are you doing?!" She yelled as she yanked the worker by the shoulder. "Fruits to your left! I'm trying to be the Taylor of my squad and your trying to ruin it already before this thing even started!" The worker quickly ran to where the fruits were supposed to be properly placed.

Basically, nothing changed. Ciara was still a controlling freak who was power crazy. She still had her long beach blond hair. Her wardrobe was still filled with the hottest new things, even though her parents had tried to restrict her shopping. Her parents felt so bad about what happened three years ago that they fell back into the habit of spoiling her again. Ciara had finished the rest of her high school education at home being home schooled. Her parents couldn't risk letting her get back to her popular girl habits and they certainly didn't want her being surrounded by possibly deranged students again.

As for Cherry, Ciara always kept Cherry dear to her. Especially since the night she almost died, she heard Cherry's voice telling her to stay strong. That was a memory Ciara would rather die then to forget.

As Ciara looked through her list on her phone, her mom approached her. She had a tray of cupcakes in her hand and had came to ask Ciara where she wanted to place them. However, after hearing how stressed out Ciara was, she decided to calm her down instead.

"Honey, your acting like a bridezilla--except this is just a small gathering," her mother said as she placed the tray on the white sofa near by them.

Ciara rolled her eyes,"This isn't just any gathering, mom! News reporters were dying to see us reunite. Once they realize we're back, the media will go crazy!"

"So...this is more like a publicity stunt?"

"Mom! Clearly I missed them after so long," Ciara answered. "I'm just saying that this is important to me just as it's important to the media."

Her mother grabbed her by the shoulders. "Honey, this is something special to you, I get it. However, you shouldn't be making your first time in so long so stressful."

"I just want things to be perfect," Ciara said as she sunk into her mothers arms. She wanted to cry, but she didn't. This was so important to her after all they've been through. She didn't want this welcome/reunion party to be just anything.

"Things will go well," her mother said as she planted a kiss on her forehead for reassurance. "Now go get all dolled up."

Ciara smiled and wasted no time to run up her spiral stairs. Yes it was one thing for her party to be perfect, but she had to look perfect as well to make it all work.

"Sammy!"

Sam was applying makeup when she heard her name being called from the hallway. There was only one answer. Her three year old little sister Emily. She turned to see her mother Rose standing in the hall holding Emily's hand. Emily had brown curly hair and blue eyes. Her skin was a little pale since Rose didn't let her go or much. Emily was in love with her older sister and always insisted that she go to bed with Sam. Even though Sam adored her little sister, today was not the day for looking after Emily.

"I'm going grocery shopping so why don't you babysit Emily for a few minutes," Rose said.

Sam quickly got up and reached for her purse.

"Sorry, I'm busy today," Sam said as she walked over to her mirror and took a good glimpse of herself. She had grown out her short hair enough for her to wear it in a nice fish tail braid. She had a turtle neck shirt fit in a tight pencil skirt with a big necklace that spoke volumes. She even added some hoop earring and heels she just bought the other day.

"Sam, please watch her," Rose begged as she picked up Emily who was just about to run into the wall. "If I take her with me, she'll go crazy."

Sam turned to look at her mother.

"I'm not the one who told you to have a baby while your first daughter was going through rough times," Sam sneered. "Very selfish of you mother."

With that, Sam walked out swaying her hips side to side. Sam and Rose haven't been on good terms after she came back from therapy camp. The people there told Rose that Sam wasn't crazy and was just going through a phase. Ever since, Sam blamed Rose and accused her of sending her away to focus on Emily. Rose knew Sam still wasn't over that when its been three years, but she didn't expect Sam to act so ruthless.

"This better be worth it," Sam muttered as she got in her car and drove off.
