Sam twirled in front of her mirrior making sure not to stumble. She wore a black short dress that was tight around her waist. He tightness of the dress pushed her boobs up a little showing more skin then she expected. Her hair was in loose wavy curls like the kind you see on a red carpet parted on the side. She was getting ready to meet up with Dylan at red lobsters to eat and discuss things. Not just anything, but she had to tell him about the new killer....well...the original killer. He had his intentions on discussing the evidence he found when someone broke into their home and killed Emily. Emily's funeral was coming up soon and before that Sam wanted to find justice for her little sister before then.
Luckily her mother wasn't home. Her mother was probably out drinking her pain away and meeting with strangers. Basically just anything to keep her from coming home and being reminded of Emily. Sam also knew that it was sorta because she didn't wanna face Sam. They would have to talk eventually but they didn't know when. On the bright side, Sam still had some independence to find herself again.
Sam leaned forward to the mirrior and watched carefully as she applied a dark red lipstick on her lips. She made sure it didn't stain her in any way. After she made sure she was perfect she turned and left her bathroom. She walked casually downstairs feeling a little weird once she passed the picture of Emily on the wall. Once she got downstairs, she grabbed her phone and keys on the little table near the door and threw it in her purse. She opened he door and to her suprise, found Domo standing there in a suit.
"Hey you," Domo said with a smile. "I was just about to knock on your door."
"Hey you." Sam said returning a forced smile. She was confused why he was even here in her presence. She certainly didn't have time for him when she had to meet up with Dylan.
"You ready to go?"
"Domo....what are you talking about...?" Sam asked. She watched his face turn from a smile to a nervous confused facial expression.
"You texted me saying you wanted to go on a date twenty minutes ago," Domo explained. "So I hurried over to meet you."
"Domo twenty minutes ago I was in the shower," Sam said as she pulled out her phone. She checked her message and shook her head in disbelief at what she saw. It did say she had texted him. She didn't do it and she had a good idea who did it. The killer had broke into her house again trying to start something.
"Then who did it Sam? The ghost?!" Domo said with a tone of annoyance.
Sam couldn't tell him about the killer and Domo wouldn't believe her if she said she didn't write it. She had to make up a lie to get Domo away.
"My mom probably wrote this to mess with me," Sam lied. "Now excuse me I have some where to be."
She started to walk away until Domo stopped her. He grabbed her by the wrist turning her to face him aggressively.
"So then where are you going dressed like that?!" Domo asked.
"I don't owe you an explanation," Sam sneered. "You never owed me an explanation when you were cheating on me like I didn't know."
The two fell silent. Domo leaned close to her and cupped his hands around her face looking deep in her eyes apologetically. His eyes were now soft and sincere. Now Sam felt bad a little. She felt herself sinking as he gave her kiss and pulled away.
"Sam I was an idiot but I am making an effort to change...for you," said Domo. "I need you to forgive me."
"Domo..." Sam stopped lost for words. She now wanted to stay but part of her knew she wanted to leave. She had to lie to him because the truth would break him. "Domo I'm going out with Ricky and I have to go...now," Sam lied. She pulled away and walked towards her car. Once she got inside she watched as Domo walked away with his hands in his pockets and his head low. She felt sorry for him but she was only giving him a taste of his own medicine.
