"All done."

Ciara had finished setting up the last security camera in her back yard. The others were settling into the guest rooms in her house. Ciara had chose this specific night knowing that her mother would be working an all night shift and her father lad just left town earlier. She had the house all to herself. Before the gang showed up, Ciara had done her best hiding Cherry away from her parents. Cherry just wasn't ready to see her parents yet until this was all over, and Ciara agreed. Their days were numbered and so they had to act quick. Ciara was over everything she had been through and was now ready to find out who the killer was. She was willing to risk her life.

"Come on Ciara, meetings in the kitchen." Ricky said as she came outside through the two grand sliding doors that led to the back yard.

"Sorry I was just setting up the last camera," Ciara said as she picked up her equipment.

"I think there's something you need to know before we start this whole thing..," Ricky began to say. She paused as she waited for Ciara to look at her. "Me and Richard...we're over."

Ciara's mouth dropped in shock. "Why though? You guys were so cute!" Ciara said. "I remember when you used to have the biggest crush on him. Ricky, he cares so much about you..that's how I know your the one who initiated the break up. Is there another guy or something?!"

Ricky chuckled a little bit as she reached in her pocket to light up another cigarette. "I'm not in the right state of mind for a relationship right now," Ricky explained. "I feel guilty because I put him through so much. Maybe if we're not together, maybe this will help him. Let's pretend the killer doesn't show up tonight. Then that means this won't end anytime soon--maybe even never. As long as Richard is with me, he'll always suffer. I can't risk losing him."

"Your really strong you know.."

"Yeah.." Ricky paused and took another drag. "Let's go inside."

Ciara nodded in agreement and followed Ricky inside the house and into the kitchen. Cherry, Sam, Richard, and Dylan was already waiting for them in the kitchen. Cherry and Sam was sitting on the counter having a conversation and catching up. As for Richard and Dylan, they were both on opposite sides of the kitchen distracted on their phones.

Ciara dropped her equipment on the ground and went straight to the fridge. She then passed out water bottles to everyone and took her spot in the middle of the floor.

"Alright everyone...tonight's the night," Ciara said as she pulled out her phone. She checked the time verifying that it was 11 o' clock. "I hope you all had a good night sleep yesterday and this morning because you all know what we're about to get into. Any questions?"

Richard slowly raised her hand. Ciara looked around and pointed to Richard.

"We don't exactly have a plan," he started off. "So we just call this guy and he shows up and boom!...we attack and that's it?"

"Let's not forget we have a cop with us right here," Ciara answered pointing to Dylan. " But yes that's the plan. Dylan then takes him to jail and its done with."

"Let's not waste any more time and get this over with," Cherry said.

"I couldn't agree more." Said Sam.

"Ok..." Ciara opened her phone and starting texting away. "Here we go...this is it."

2night, I want u 2 bring it on. You've got da whole gang here, show us wat u got. Spot lights on u 2night!
          --Ciara

She pressed send and quickly slipped her phone into her pocket. She was afraid to look.

"Alright you guys know the deal," Ciara said. "We gotta stick together so pick a partner."

"I'll take Cherry!" Richard shouted.

Ricky felt an overwhelming sensation of jealousy come over her. However, she tried not to show it. She watched with evil eyes as Cherry walked over to join Richard hand in hand.

"I'll take Dylan," Sam said as she happily skipped over to Dylan.

"Then I suppose me and Ricky will be together tonight," Ciara said." Alright, split up!"
******

Cherry watched Richard closely as he spun  around in the old computer chair. They had decided to stay in the basement. She knew something wasn't right. She wasn't confused as to why Richard chose her instead of Ricky. It didn't take much to know that Richard and Ricky had a thing going on. Even after the years she missed, she knew that Ricky used to have a wild crush on Richard.

Cherry got up from the floor and started walking around the basement looking through things. She found an old box and opened it to find old pictures of her and her family. She was bored of watching Richard spin around and was happy she got up to find these pictures. One picture was of her and Ciara when they were about five years old. Both had an ice cream cone in their hand and their hair was both done the same way. They were even dressed alike.

Richard noticed Cherry laughing to herself in the corner. He got up and walked over to her to see what she was looking at. Cherry who noticed her was behind her gave him the picture for him to look at.

"That's adorable," he said. "But...why are you just now looking at these?"

She smiled and answered, "To fill in empty holes. I forgot so much and it's nice to finally see these again. After all, we don't know if we're gonna survive this if this killer do show up. I might as well think of this as my final moments."

"Bull crap! I won't let anything happen to you," Richard said.

There was an Awkward pause. Richard couldn't help but place his hands on Cherry's face. Then it all started rushing back. He had once had a crush on her and Ricky. He just never took his chances because he never thought she would like him. He went out with Ricky because he was certain she felt the same way back.

Cherry on the other hand had always had a crush on him as well. But once she realized he had a thing for Ricky, she immediately assumed Richard didn't feel the same way so she had pushed her feelings to the side. Now, years later she would have to face them. Now, all that was going through her mind was that this could be her last night alive. After all, this was part of filling in empty holes she had forgotten.

She slowly leaned forward and so did Richard. Their kiss were in sync. She knew it felt so wrong but how could she stop herself. Besides, she was desperate. She hasn't liked anyone for years and hadn't even been romantically involved for years because of her situation.

Richard feeling guilty forced himself to push back. Cherry giggled a little feeling guilty but excited at the same time. She felt so protected.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that," Richard said quietly.

"No..it's my fault. I know you and Ricky are on."

"We're not anymore..."

"Oh...well then...why---"

Suddenly someone let out a loud scream. The two looked dead into each other's eyes.

"Someone's in trouble!" Richard yelled.

The two went speeding up the stairs and slammed their bodies into the door trying to open it. Richard did everything he could do but the door wouldn't  budge. The same fear Cherry had felt years ago came rushing back.

"We're gonna die!" She cried out. "Open the damn door!"

"I can't!"

They stopped to look at each other.

"You don't think...-"

"It's locked." Richard interjected. "That bastard is here and he or she knows we're in here. We need to find a way out of this damn basement!"
