Pitter patter.
The sound of the water gently falling onto the bucket. Ricky rinsed the soap off her and stepped out the bath tub. It was morning by now but outside was still dark. It was raining outside giving the day a dreadful feeling. She opened the curtains to get some sort of light inside of her bathroom.

Today she had plans to find Daniel and tell him about their grandmothers death. She still hasn't reached out to him for all this time. Dylan had told her he seen him selling drugs just the day ago so he should still be in town. It would be a little strange talking to him again after everything he did to her three years ago. However this time she was different. She was much more confident now and after everything she has been through, he couldn't scare her anymore.

She still remembered the night she came back home with the cops. Her grandmother was the only one giving her kisses and hugs and making her feel a little safe. Her brother on the other hand didn't even bother her like she expected. Instead, he just said the simple words, "God bless". It was the first time in a while since she's ever heard the words of God come from his mouth. He had a sincere look in his eyes that night though, but Ricky still didn't care. He never bothered to say sorry about the things he's done so to her, he's still an enemy. She just thought he at least deserved to know Maple died. After all, he was her grandchild too even though he wasn't the best one.

Ricky wrapped her towel around her and headed straight to the room where Richard was getting dressed. She gave him a quick good morning kiss and continued her business looking through her closet for clothes. Today she was looking for more of a casual outfit but not too casual.

"Let's hope we find him near the corner store where Dylan found him," Richard said. "I don't feel like searching the whole town for the guy."

"Same but we have to," Ricky said.

Richard stopped and through himself on the bed. "Why do we have to help this guy?"

"Richard!" Ricky threw a pillow at him playfully but serious enough for him to get that he was being rude. "He deserves to know."

"His life is already over anyways. I mean, your the one that's getting the check off your grandmothers death, not him!"

"This isn't about the money I'm making off her you bastard!" Ricky said sharply. She slipped a blouse over her head and dropped to the bed as well.

"Baby...that's not what I meant," Richard said as he rolled over to Ricky's side. He wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her.

"I know that..," Ricky paused to take a deep breath. "There's something I have to tell you about her death."

"Well...what is it?"

"Richard I didn't wanna say anything because I know you would wanna leave but...." She felt a lump in her throat and started chocking on her words. "Everything that happened three years ago is happening again. Maybe if I didn't come back she would still be alive but...I missed her. Is that so wrong to miss someone and wanna see them again?! The killer was waiting for us to reunite and I...I missed the girls!"

Richard was quiet.

"Richard please say something! Tell me I'm stupid. Tell me this is all my fault. Tell me anything!"

Richard cupped his hands around her face giving her a kiss on the cheek. Ricky was shocked he wasn't shouting at her.

"I knew we should've left but I get your temptations to come back," he said softly. "It's not like you knew this was gonna happen again. We thought it was over. Now, we just go home."

Ricky moved away a little. "I...I'm not leaving Richard. I know that's what you want but no! I can't keep running away. I promised the girls and we need to put an end to this. This physco will start preying on other girls like us and we have the power to put an end to it. I don't care if I die at the end, I'd be at peace knowing that people like you would be safe. I love you guys. I love this town. What justice would I do for Grandmother if I just let her killer walk away?! I'm not the same Ricky I was who was vulnerable. Something clicked. I realized this will never end if we keep running away."
