Sam waited outside sitting on the chairs in the waiting room with Cherry and Richard. The rules were that only one person would be in the room with the patient at a time. According to Cherry, Ciara had surgery in her arm and refused to take a nap without seeing her friends.
She looked around watching nurses and doctors walk back and forth. However each one stopped to look at them. They knew exactly who they were considering that the tv was on in the waiting room. The segment was about them and they kept repeating the whole thing. So no one would miss it. They were the talk of the town.
Suddenly a doctor came up to them. "Are you guys hungry? Our staff would gladly give you guys free food and a blanket," the lady said. "We know how tired you poor things must be."
"I brought them something already," a familiar voice said.
Sam looked up to see Domo walking towards them with a basket in his hands. Sam couldn't help but run up to him and hug him. She still felt guilty for cheating on him but, she still felt he deserved it. Once she pulled away he quickly snuck in a kiss. Sam started to blush. She had the same feeling she felt when first met him and had a crush on him.
"I missed you love bug," he said. "So this is why you've been avoiding me?"
"No...its deeper then that..."She paused to prepare her words. She knew she had to tell him. "Domo you should know this now. I was seeing someone else... And that someone else was Dylan. Of course he turned out to be a psycho using me to try to kill my friends. I just want to say sorry...I just needed a break from us."
"It's ok...I don't blame you..."He said. "As long as your mine for good now."
"I'm not gonna jump into a relationship right now Domo..," she said. "Let's just be friends..please?"
"Sure, I respect it."
He places the basket on the table as the doctor walked away.
"Dig in people," he said.
Cherry smiled and diced straight in the basket for a sandwich. She devoured it quickly. As for Richard, he just took an apple. He had lost his appetite after everything he seen lately. Sam had also went in to grab a sandwich and devoured it. They talked for a while talking about how their lives would get better now that everything was over.
Then a doctor came up to them again. "Ciara demands that you and Cherry be in the room with her alongside Ricky. We know you guys had it pretty tough so we're just gonna make an exception for thirty minutes."
Cherry and Sam ran down the hall and into the room where Ciara was laying. Ricky was already sitting on the chair along side her bed.
"Finally, my best friends and my sister joined me," Ciara said with a smile.
The girls took it all in. They couldn't remember the last time they each smiled genuinely towards each other.
"I'm so glad this is all over," Ciara continued. "I know that I already have a twin sister, but you guys have always been my sisters too."
She reached her hands out to Ricky and Sam. She then clutched it tightly. Cherry stood respectfully on the side. She knew that her sisters friendship with Sam and Ricky was something special.
"You guys have a place in my heart that not even my own twin can take," she said. "And the same goes for you Cherry."
"So, do you guys plan on leaving again?" Cherry asked.
"I've decided to take my grandmothers home," Ricky said. "It's all over so I don't plan on leaving. Besides, I can't bring myself around to leave my girls again."
"My mom doesn't have the money to leave and I don't plan on leaving you guys either," Sam said. "We all been through so much. After all, our history is here in this very town. I'm not just gonna leave it. I'm gonna show everyone that we survived and we didn't run away from our problems."
"Spoken like true bad girls," Ciara said with a chuckle.
The door opened revealing the same doctor.
"Your parents want to see you Ciara," he said. "Time for your friends to go."
"Bye lovelies! We'll chat later!" Ciara called out as the girls walked out of the room. They were finally able to breath again.
