Sam spent the night over Dylan's and was on the septa bus making her way home. She was coming back to get grab her things to go to Ciara's house and to check up on her mother. The gang had decided they were gonna find out who the killer was and put an end to everything. Sam knew this was dangerous and if she was being realistic, she didn't know if she was gonna make it alive. All she knew was that this might be her last time seeing her mother so she wanted to go back with positive intensions. She had plans to make her mother dinner and talk to her for a little bit. She wasn't sure what state of mind her mother was in considering her mother never called to see where she was. She figured her mother wouldn't be angry.

Sam walked into her house to find her mother laying on the couch watching old videos of her little sisters few years. Rosa was weeping as she poured cans of beer down her throat.

Sam walked over cleaning up the cans off the floor. She looked at her mother to see if she noticed that she was even there. Rosa didn't even move an inch. She smelt like vomit and sweat. Her makeup was all over the place and her hair was in a big knot.

Sam walked into the kitchen throwing away the cans. She then returned to the living room with a napkin to wipe off the stains on her mothers face. Once she reached over to start cleaning, her mother bit at her hand. Sam jumped back and held onto her other hand crying out in agony.

"What is wrong with you?!" Sam yelled as she tried shaking her hand to somehow stop the pain.

"I know you weren't home," Rosa said she leaned forward to look at Sam with anger. "You think you could just show up in my house after leaving?! Where the hell were you?!"

"I didn't think your drunk self would even remember I was even alive," Sam sneered as she turned to walk up the stairs.

Rosa jumped up and yanked Sam to the ground.

"You killed my daughter, then you leave for days and think you can walk in here like you own things?!" Rosa yelled as she sat back down.

Sam slowly got up to dust herself off. "You were gone for weeks and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I'm your daughter to--"

"No."

"Oh...so now I'm not your daughter?" Sam felt herself about to cry but she batted her eyelashes trying not to let it out. She stood there waiting for a response.

"Get out of my house!" Rosa yelled.

"Gladly you wicked drunken lady," Sam sneered as she ran up to her room. She grabbed everything she could grab and ran down the stairs. She found her mother in the kitchen getting more beers. Sam shook her head in disappointment and walked out the house. She thought she could make things ok by helping Rosa. She was clearly wrong. She never thought that in a million years her and her mother would get into an arguement like that.

Sam ringed the door to Ciara's house and stood there patiently waiting in the cold. Once Ciara opened the door, Sam threw herself into her arms crying. Ciara hugged her stroking her hair trying to calm her down. She lead Sam into the living room as her mother shut the door for them.

Both girls took a seat on the couch and Sam laid her head down on Ciara's lap as she put her legs on the couch too.

"What happened Sammy? Your mom right? Or was it Domo?" Ciara asked as she played with Sam's hair.

"I'm just so confused Ciara..I'm just so confused man." Sam said quietly. "Am I really the worst daughter? Or is she the worst mother? She kicked me out Ciara. I have no where to go..."

"It's ok Sammy, you know you can stay here for as long as you like. We're in this together remember?"

"But you have a mother...I'm so lost.." Sam sat up and looked at Ciara dead in the eyes and continued, "My mother hates me."

Ciara was a quiet for a while. She pulled Sam in for another hug.

"That doesn't mean I hate you," she whispered in Sam's ear. "We're always there for each other. I love you Sammy and that's all that matters right now. We need each other so much right now. I don't know what's gonna happen tonight but we need to be focused to get justice for your sister."

"Tell me that it's gonna be ok.."

"It's gonna be ok Sammy..."

But deep down inside, Ciara wasn't sure.
