Sam couldn't sleep last night. She couldn't help but think about Officer Dylan all last night and how brave he was to stick up for the girls. Not to mention, Ricky snored pretty loudly. Ok, let's be serious. That wasn't why she stayed awake last night at all---well, partially. The real reason is because all last night her phone was buzzing from text messages. The text messages weren't from the person she wanted ..it was actually her mother and a few friends saying they saw her on the news. She had expected her on and off boyfriend Domo to ask her if she was ok. After all, he did see her in the news, it went viral. People were dying to see the girls reunite so why wouldn't it go viral. She had expected more from Domo since they've been together for six months. They made a promise to be there for each other and she never heard from him. Not only that, but she hasn't heard from him for three days. Three days! Sam was tired of waiting around for him and every time she called, he never answered. She didn't care what he was doing, he needed to understand that not communicating with his "girl friend" was soo not cool. She knew about the times he cheated on her with some random chick. She walked in on them plenty of times. Nothing changed. He apologized, she dumped him, he showed up at he editor step all romantic and just to start the same cycle again.
Sam slowly rolled out of the bed next to Ricky and Ciara trying not to wake them. She slipped on some slippers and walked out the room in her under garment. She personally hated sleeping with clothes on and thankfully, her friends didn't mind. She walked through the hallways slowly trying to avoid the cracking noise every door step makes. She managed to slip into the bathroom without waking the girls. She looked at the clock on the pastel colored walls that looked a few years too old. It was only seven in the morning. She stood in front of the mirror admiring her body. She had managed to lose some weight to define her natural hip curves. She had a nice body and never noticed with her rolls in the way. Now that her stomach was nice and semi flat, she could really see her curves. She did a spin admiring her perky butt.
Domo doesn't know what he's missing, Sam thought. His little mistress ain't got nothing on this!
Suddenly Dylan came walking into the bathroom in full speed knocking into Sam. She didn't realize what happened until she felt herself almost touching the ground. He quickly reached for her, dropping his coffee on the floor. Sam held a death grip on his arm for extra support as he helped her back up.
"I'm so sorry, I thought you were asleep," Dylan said as he pulled away to grab for some tissues.
"It's fine,"Sam said as she did the same and helped him clean up the coffee. "I don't usually wake up this early anyways."
"Then why did..."his voice trailed away as he realized Sam was barely dressed. He quickly turned away trying to not make it obvious that he was staring but couldn't help but to look again.
Realizing Dylan was staring, Sam blushed and quickly reached for the robe sitting on the toilet. She slipped into the robe and tied the rope to hold it closed. It was weird but she knew Dylan was totally looking at her. She didn't mind too much because he was good looking, but still...he was not her age. However what does she have to do with this? Dylan was hot in his right uniform showing off his muscles. After all, Domo was playing her so why not do the same back. It's clear that he liked what he saw.
Dylan cleared his voice as he got up from cleaning the coffee,"I should...uh..leave."
Sam hesitated and grabbed his arm. How bad could it be if Dylan became her little summer fling.
"You..don't have to..," Sam looked around the bathroom for an excuse. "..because..I need help turning on the water for a shower! Can you help?"
Dylan shrugged and walked over to open the water. "Nothing was wrong with it so I don't know why you couldn't open it."
