Two months later.

Evelyn.

"Luke! We have to go," I scrambled, holding my dress by my knees and slipping on my black heels. I held a pair of earrings by the mirror and slipped them on, attaching the back to ensure they wouldn't slip.

Luke walked out of the bathroom with his hands fumbling with a tie. I sighed, pushing his away and reaching to tie it for him.

He was staring at me intensely, a little smile brushing his lips.

"You always take care of me," He hummed.

"Yeah yeah," I rolled my eyes, "And you always make us late."

He laughed, gripping my hips and bringing me closer to him so that my pelvis pressed to his. I pressed my hands onto his chest to make space between us.

"You look so good in silk," Luke dipped his head into the edge of my neck, lightly brushing his lips onto my skin, "You look good in everything."

He feathered kisses down to my shoulder as he brushed aside the strap of my dress so that it slipped down.

I tilted my chin up and rolled my eyes with a sort of blush attached to my face, "We need to go, Luke."

He groaned against my skin, resting his head onto my
shoulder, "Why do we have to?"

I ignored him and dragged him out of my apartment and down to the car. Luke and I then made our way down to the car and to our destination.

Once we reached the location pointed out on google maps, I stepped out of the car and looked around. To the left of me were rows of cars glittering in the sun.

A stretched Lincoln stood alone, decked out in ribbons and twisted coils of streamers, ready to whisk the groom and bride away. 'Just Married' was painted across the dark rear window.

As I sat there, I thought to myself how perfect and lovely everything was. The smell of fresh cut flowers filled the air, an exciting beginning to the day we were in.

Luke and I filed into our positions, ready to walk down the isle. The music was being played by the organ on the side.

We slipped down, Luke and I arm in arm as we reached the end of the church isle before separating. Luke stood next to Ashton, who was sweating profusely. I stood alone as the other bridesmaids followed me.

Of course, being the maid of honor made me feel a little bit superior to the rest of them.

I saw Luke lean down and whisper something into Ashton's ear, which was then followed by Ashton shoving Luke's shoulder as discretely as he possibly could. I held in a laugh, focusing my attention back to the front.

Kate and the following bridesmaid that was matched to him followed suit. It wasn't long before all of them filed in their places.

It was a few minutes before Hailey appeared at the end, in a white dress.

The music stopped, and all heads turned to face the far end of the walk. The opening to the bridal chorus started to play. Down the isle she came.

I could not believe how beautiful Hailey was. She wore a strapless wedding gown with embroidery on her bodice. Rhinestones and pearl beads were sewn on her gown. She also wore a two-tier veil, with a matching crystal head-piece. She held a French rose silk bouquet.

Her dad held her left arm and smiled at her as they reached the bottom step. There awaiting her was the pastor and her husband-to-be, Ashton, smiling widely. He wore a black, single-breasted, satin tuxedo with a white-wing collar shirt.
