Evelyn woke up to light shining through her curtains. She sat up in bed and looked around her room with a smile. She threw the covers off of her and raced to her closet.

She grabbed a pair of black jeans, and a grey tank top paired it with her cameo jacket, and finished off the look by letting her long red hair flow down her back. She smiled at herself in the mirror before grabbing her pair of black ankle work boots and running out the door.

As she walked through the forest, stepping over fallen trees, the leaves crushing under the soles of her boots. The forest grew eerily silent, the birds stopped chirping, and the wind could no longer be heard whipping through the leaves of the trees. Evelyn stopped walking, instead, she looked around the forest. The soft sound of whispering reached her ears, sounding like the voice was right next to her. She whipped her head around, "Hello?" she called. She was met with nothing but the sound of claws scratching the bark of a tree. Evelyn quickly started running, not wanting to find out what the sound was.

When Evelyn broke out of the treeline and entered the clearing she wasn't surprised to see the group of boys playing soccer, shirtless. Jared was the first to spot her, he quickly left the game to come to greet her. Instead of a hug he picked her bridal style and spun around in a circle, drawing a yelp from the girl.

Emily walked out of the house, drying her hands on a towel. "Jared put her down!" she called. Jared pouted but did as he was told. Evelyn giggled as she walked towards the black-haired woman, leaving Jared to go back to the game.

Emily put an arm around her shoulders and led her into the kitchen. Evelyn was met with the smell of chicken, "It smells amazing Emily." she said as she watched Emily open the oven to check on the chicken. "Is there anything I could do to help?"

Emily smiled," Actually could you make up a salad?" she asked.

The red-head girl nodded her head, "Sure,"

Evelyn opened her mouth to ask a question but was cut off by the sound of the door opening and many pairs of feet entering. The boys walked in, shoving each other, "Boys! No roughhousing in the house, I'm tired of having to replace vases." Emily scolded, causing Evelyn to snicker.

The boys immediately stopped, instead heading towards the table, ready to eat. Evelyn helped Emily bring the food to the table, watching as they all dung into the wood like animals.

Emily laughed at her bewildered face, "This is normal," she told her as they walked back towards the kitchen.

The two girls were cleaning up the kitchen when the front door slammed open and in walked two more people who seemed to be arguing. One was a girl who had shoulder-length black hair and was wearing a tank top and shorts. The other was a boy with cropped black hair and was shirtless, both seeming to have the same tattoo as the rest of the boys.

The two didn't even glance in Evelyn's direction, instead, they both headed straight toward the table. Everyone was silent as they watched the two, "What?" the girl snapped, the boy not looking up from his food.

Everyone glanced at Evelyn, leading The girl's line of sight toward her. Evelyn gave her an awkward smile and a small wave.

Leah elbowed the boy, "Paul" she whispered, causing him to snap his head up to look at her, "What?" he growled.

She nodded to where the red-headed girl was standing with Emily, the latter having an amused smile on her face. Paul's eyes traveled to Evelyn, who greeted him with an awkward smile.

The two's eyes met, causing Paul's world to stop. He saw their future together, her smiling up at him, their first date, when he proposed, and her with a baby in her arms. Paul had sworn that he would never Imprint. But now that he had, he wouldn't change it for the world.

Emily beamed at her fiancee, happy for the two of them. She clapped her hands together, bringing Paul out of his daze. "Paul, this is Evelyn. Evelyn, This is Paul." she introduced.

Evelyn smiled at the boy, "It's nice to meet you."

Paul cleared his throat, "You too,"

The boys, minus Sam were all smirking. Paul had made fun of all of them when they imprinted, and now it was their turn. "So Evelyn, do you have a boyfriend?" Quil asked. Paul growled at him and the others who sat there smirking.

Evelyn laughed awkwardly, "No, I just moved here, and back where I used to live I didn't date."

"Whys that?" Emily asked.

Evelyn shrugged, "No reason. Just was never really into the boys there. Anyway, I should probably get going,"

"What? Why?" Paul asked, not wanting her to leave after having just met her.

"I promised my sister I would help her get the clinic ready for opening," she answered as she reached the front door.

Emily stepped forward to hug her, "You're welcome here anytime. It will be good for me and Leah to have another girl around."

Evelyn nodded, "I'll see you later then," she giggled before pulling the door open and leaving.
