Tell Me A Secret

Chapter 5: The Nightmare

My body is complete in shock, and I cannot move it. I try to pull my arms to my face but they are constrained.

I wake up to what seems like I am tied up in a chair. But then I come to a realization that I am tied up in a chair in a dark basement. I try and push myself out the chair, I push and pull but I can't get out of it.

I feel the ropes around my feet tied to each leg of the chair. My hands are in handcuffs and they are on the tightest setting. If I were to move my hands to try and release the cuffs my hands would be cut. I try and turn my head but there is something tied to my neck to hold me down. How did I even get here, and where the hell am I.

I try to scream but realize that I have duct tape all around my mouth wrapping around my head. I am not getting out of here.

I look around the room to see I am in a basement in the dark. There is a mattress on the floor, oh dear god what are they going to do to me. I'm getting way too scared I need to try and get myself out. I notice that the door at the top of the stairs has a light from upstairs that shines through the bottom of the door. There is someone up there.

I try and concentrate, what can I do to get myself out of this situation. I can try and push myself backwards and try and break the chair. Or could I try and bite the duct tape off and scream. I think the breaking the chair option is the best.

I try and free my feet from the rope but it isn't working. I move my body forward and then backward to try and get a rock, but nothing happens. I try and be quite so the person that kidnapped me doesn't hear me. I try again but with all my might and I get a rock. Yes I think to myself, now I need a couple more and I can flip. I try a couple more times and I get myself flipped back to break the leg off the chair. My feet become free and try to stand to my feet. I listen to make sure that no one is coming before I smash this chair against the wall. I walk over to the side of the wall and smash right into it freeing me of the chair. I still have handcuffs on and there is no way I'm getting out of them.

I look for any possible exits and there is none in this basement, what am I going to do.

Suddenly I hear a yell from upstairs.

"HARRY I hear something downstairs" someone says muffled through the door

My heart drops, they are coming after me. What am I going to do, I can't hide there is no rooms down here. Maybe I can hide in a corner, no that would be stupid. I listen to my instinct and grab the wooden chair pieces and I put myself on the floor next to the wall to make it seem like I knocked myself out.

I hear feet stomping down the stairs but I can't see who because I closed my eyes. I know this won't work for long but it will buy me some time. My head is thinking let him come over here and check on me and kick him in his balls. Great plan Avery, I guess I chuckle silently.

"You bitch you think you were smart" I hear a deep british voice say from across the room.

"It's okay guys I don't need your help she knocked herself out" he says yelling up to his gang

I am trying to stay as still as possible and I am trying not cry. What if this doesn't work and he finds out I'm fine. He'll kill me. What does he want from me anyway?

I feel a tall figure stand in front of my "lifeless" body and I hear him whisper.

"You were trying to get away from me weren't ya?" he says caressing my face.

I try not to flinch because then he'll realize I'm not passed out.

"You can't do that love, you are mine now" he says moving his hand down to my neck.
