Harvey and Alex where cousins. Their grandfather had raised them both. Alex died in a car crash and Harvey had been driving. That's why Harvey didn't go see her grandfather till he was dead.
Olivers daughter will come in chapter 11(sorry about that). Owen hadn't came to visit Oliver in so long because Owen thought Oliver hated him.
After killing her cousin by accedent Harvey slept with lots of men to try and distract herself from thinking about Alex.
Jaylene went to a differnt state for highschool because she missed her mother. She later joined the army because her mother died and her father was in the army. Jaylene also was pregnant but aborted the baby because she thought she'd be a bad mother.
Alice and Oliver had been best friends till Jaylene and Oliver met. Then Oliver and Alice became childhood enimes and still hate eachother, but Alice still wants to be friends with him.
Mary Reel, Olivers ex-wife, was slightly bi-polar and did drugs for a while. That is why their marrige did not work out.
