Yngvildr is a character I made up. She was friends with the reader and is also dead
"This is what you wanted to show me?"
"Yeah! What, do you not like it?"
"No, I love it, it's beautiful. It's just not like you to show me something like this."
The sky was colored pink and orange. The moon and stars were faintly seen, fading away, as the sun rose to wake up the planets inhabitants.
The two of you sat on a log, looking at the sky.
"Well, now it is."
You smiled in response, briefly looking towards him, before turning back to the sky.
The silence between the both of you left you with reflection. Staring at the sky's majesty, your mind began to wander to many thoughts until they suddenly turned negative.
You turned to him again before you readied yourself to speak.
"I..."
You're voice faltered, the sentence dying on your tongue. Your lip quivered as you tried your damnedest to keep your voice from trembling.
"I miss Yngvildr."
He looked at you, waiting for you to continue.
"Does it get any better?" You whispered to avoid crying.
"No. But it gets easier to deal with."
Your attempts to hold back tears were all in vain.
