Percy POV:
I was sitting on the edge of the massive cliff that hugged the North side of my crescent-shaped island. I had to wrap my head around everything, too much happened in such a small time.
Yeah, well we're demigods.. gods actually, so suck it up and deal with it, life often isn't fair. But it's the hard times that show who you are, I thought you would have understood that by now...
You're right... I should try talking to the girls about everything, and see how they're doing.
Sure you do that, I'm going to take a nap. Taking control was tiring. Oh, and we should also start training our new powers if you want us to survive Order.
I tried reaching out to the Ocean in front of me and realized I had massive control over it. I tried creating different shapes, then moved on to creating different animals, I even managed to create a massive replica of Blackjack and made him fly around.
In the end, I settled on jumping off the cliff into the water below. The feeling of the salty water on my skin was rejuvenating, giving me energy. I started swimming towards the Ocean bed and was stunned by all of the life that existed there. It could easily have rivaled Atlantis.
I decided to head back to shore so I swam up, just to realize that I had to climb the cliff to go back up. So I did and when I reached the top I stretched my newly healed body, still showing the horrible purple scars from Tartarus.
I only had a pair of shorts on so you could see every injury in its full horrifying glory. I wanted to fly but remembered that I didn't have wings anymore so I resorted to walking toward the nearest thing that grabbed my attention: the massive forest that covered one-third of the island.
It reminded me of the hunts with Artemis, Zoe, Thalia, and the rest of the Hunt. Gods, my time in Tartarus felt like an eternity.
I started running towards the woods hoping to find the hunt, but all I saw were trees and more trees, go figure. But I couldn't help but notice the immense variety of wildlife that my island offered, tons of mythical creatures and animals living in the perfect ecosystem.
"It's stunning, one of if not the best displays of wildlife I've seen." A voice said.
"I agree milady!" Another voice added.
"Artemis, Zoe, I thought you might have been here!"
"I feel as if I have a deeper connection with my wildlife domain when I'm here."
"I'm glad you enjoy it, I haven't gotten the chance to explore my island yet."
"How do you feel?" Zoe asked
"What do you mean?"
"This." She said as she ran her index finger over my fresh scars where my wings once were, causing me to shiver and move away from her cold finger touching my still sensitive skin.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you!"
"No, it's fine... How are the rest of the people on the island?" I said changing the subject.
"Well Thalia and Reyna are sparring in the Arena, Piper and Silena are at the SPA, Hazel and Hestia are talking at the massive Hearth in front of the mansion, Calypso and Bianca are tending to the gardens, and Annabeth is in the library, greedily reading every single book she can find." Artemis explained.
"Wow, how do you know the position of every single person on the Island?"
"Well not everyone, I don't know where your friends Grover and Nico are for instance, but we divided into groups of two after you teleported."
"Oh, yeah sorry about Maximus."
"Yeah, you need to keep him under control, he's a dangerous wild card." Zoe said.
"I know. Speaking about keeping under control, we need to start training our powers if we hope to defeat Order or even Tartarus."
"Yes about that, you left before you could see the note that the fates left for us. Chaos has managed to write down a spell to create a small alternate dimension where we can train against simulations of our opponents. But it needs an immense amount of power." Zoe told me.
"Oh, well then we should do it this evening."
"NO! You need to rest for a full week! That's what Apollo said and that's what you will do!" Artemis warned me.
"WHAT!? A full week without doing anything?"
"No, a full week without anything too stressful physically and psychologically."
"Oh come on."
"No! And that is final, everyone has agreed on it." Zoe intervened.
"Fine!"
"I missed you..." Artemis said before gently pecking me on the lips and flashing away.
"She still hasn't gotten used to the whole relationship thing," Zoe said
"Didn't seem like that to me this morning..."
"True that was unexpected."
"What about you?" I added sarcastically.
"Oh, I wouldn't act so cocky if I were you," she said before kissing me. Her tongue instantly invaded my mouth as we started to make out, her mouth sweet like nectar. I could never get enough of her flavor, it was like an aphrodisiac to me, I just let our tongues wrestle for dominance. Our hot breaths exchanged with one another as Zoe's hand started to run through my hair, my own hands slowly raised to her lower back and held her firmly against me as we continued to make out. I guess she felt me get hard because she pulled away with a smirk on her face.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we still have a job to do and think of the others. They're patiently waiting for the right moment and so will you."
I simply chuckled sheepishly rubbing the back of my neck.
"Now I think you should meet the other girls, I'm going to help Artemis." She said before jumping onto a tree and disappearing into the forest.
'Now, who should I visit first?' I thought to myself.
