Dealing with Chaos

Confession

Percy POV:

As soon as I neck pinched Zoe, I picked her up and brought her to our Island. I had asked Artemis and Thalia to clear any doubts with the hunters while I figured out what was going on with Zoe.

We arrive at the mansion and I asked told nymphs to take the day off, I didn't really like having servants. As we reached the bedroom Zoe started getting restless, she was sweating and mumbling while thrashing around.

I started getting worried, I laid her down on the bed and willed a glass of water to appear and splash it in her face. I know it was a bit unorthodox but it was the first thing that came to mind, I then decided to force feed her some nectar and ambrosia, all I could do now was HOPE.

"..give up.. Percy.. get out of my head.. Order.." That was all I managed to understand.

Order was messing with her. That gave me ulterior worry. I concentrated all of my current magic powers on the tips of my fingers, and touched her forehead.

If Order had managed to get in her mind then I would have to hurry.

I dived in her mind.

It was a weird feeling, having never done this before it felt unnatural, I was entering Zoe's mind. As I looked for the current position of her conscious I couldn't help but look at everything she had gone through, I could see and feel everything she ever saw or felt.

Needless to say, it was painful and extremely emotional, but I had to keep going, I had to save her.

Suddenly I felt a presence that shouldn't have been part of her mind, Order.

I immediately went in the direction of the presence and found Zoe, being retrained, no, controlled by some strings, they all connected to different parts of her.

I immediately started severing them, ripping them with my hands. I only hoped she wasn't to far gone.

As I finished I could feel the presence leave her mind, and felt myself being pushed out to.

I awoke to find myself back in my body, I was now sweating and my vision was blotchy. I checked Zoe's vitals one more time before fainting.

Zoe POV:

As Order finished talking, he turned looking a bit shocked.

"Ah, he's already more powerful than expected. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm going to win and you are not going to be able to do anything about it.

Goodbye for now, Miss Nightshade."

And with that he left, I could feel his connection being severed forcefully by an external force. As the connection disappeared I regained complete control and purged everyone from my mind.

I woke up to a sleeping Percy laying on me. I guess he was the one that severed Order's connection.

I looked around and noticed that we were inside the mansion on his Island. I cautiously slid Percy on to the bed and made my way outside of the Mansion.

As I reached the beautiful beach that surrounded the Island I decided to stretch my wings. I took flight and reached the Arena.

It was the most beautifully equipped and designed Arena I had ever seen.

I decided to spar with some dummies, as I was training I couldn't help but think about what Order was saying.

Was he bluffing? Did he really already have a plan, was it really already taking place? And why try to control me, why not Percy?

I continued beating the dummies when I noticed a silver flash on my right.

Artemis came up to me. "What happened to you, where's Percy?" she seemed wary, I couldn't blame her.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have shouted at you milady, it's just that everybody is angry at Percy and he's already fragile as it iss, he's n ot showing but the new powers are taking a toll on him." I answered before she could continue.

"Order then took control of my body, I still don't know how but he talked to me while controlling my body. I managed to regain control for a brief moment before Percy brought me here. He then freed me from his control and I awoke to him fainted. I decided to come here to clear my mind."

"It is a beatiful Arena, even better than the one on Olympus one might say." she said, "I.. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm.. I'm sorry Zoe."

"It isn't your fault milady!"

"But it is, I was split inside and I was just making life worse for all of you, just because of my own selfish beliefs. And it's been affecting me as well, I keep trying to convince myself that Percy isn't the nicest, hott... ehm, most caring man out there, but deep inside I know that's not true." she paused

"You're right Zoe, he's nothing like the rest of the males out there and I think I need to finally confess my feelings."

"Well, I think you came at the right moment!" I said, seeing Percy flying up in the sky, probably looking for me.

I waved and shouted his name, he turned towards us and you could see him relax. He landed next to us and hugged me.

"Thank the Gods you're alright. Don't ever leave like that, you made me have a heart attack." He then gently cupped my cheek and kissed me in the most affectionate way possible.

"Ahem.." Artemis seemed to blush. Percy turned and blushed as well.

"Sorry Milady, I had forgotten you were there. You have to know that it wasn't Zoe's fault, she was being controlled by Order." he immediately tried to justify.

"I know Percy, and I told you to call me Artemis. Actually.."

"Yes, Artemis is trying to tell you that she's in love with you and is sorry because her past couldn't accept it." Artemis blushed and glared at me.

"I.." Percy looked as shocked as one could be "I would like to hear it from her, because if she can't then it.. It means she isn't't ready. I know that the fate of the Universe is relying on it, but I would never want to force something on anyone let alone someone I love."

Artemis didn't say anything. She just shily pecked his lips. "I do love you,..."
