Izabelah's POV
There was a howling.
It was Niklaus, but I could feel Bonnie pushing against another supernatural force, one that felt the same as him, but slightly stronger.
Rosie...
I ripped my hand from hers, now that Elijah was there, getting ready to rip out his brothers heart, who was staring at me in shock. "Miss Izzi... Elijah..." He panted, still suffering from the spell we'd inflicted onto him.
"I'm sorry, my Nikky. But I gave you a choice, and you threw me into my safe, after saving me from my fear last time." And then I turned and ran away, knowing that Rosie needed me and they could handle themselves now.
The forest around me was sparse, the trees not covering much, and I could hear more screaming as I ran, calling out my sisters name, but it was too dark to see. "ROSALYN!" I cried, stumbling in the woods, landing hard on my knees and splitting open the palms of my hands, blood tangling with the soil and plants. "ROSIE!"
I started running again, lighting small fires along my way, trying to be able to see where I was going, but then I still tripped, smashing my knee into a rock and skinning it.. "Rosalyn, Rosalyn, where are you?!"
And then there was something coming towards me, strong and fast, with blazing amber eyes. She'd turned, and she was coming right for me. I did what I had that first month, all those years ago, lying flat on my stomach and letting her come to me, sniffing at my blood and licking them.
Very slowly, I started to get higher up, showing my face, pressing it lightly into her tawny fur and hugging the wolf. "Oh, Rosie..." I breathed, moving around to look at her face, stroking it gently. "I'm going to help you turn back, Rosalyn, you know how this works, but please, please, don't run. Oh, my sister..."
I could hear a voice behind me then, Jeremy running towards us, panting as he had tried to catch Rosie up and I turned. "Jeremy! Jeremy, stay back. Please, my Love. I'm the only person she won't attack. Go find her some clothes, leave them in my van for me."
"Izzi? Okay, just, look after her, please!" And then he stared running back the way he came, out of sight, and the wolf made small whining sounds, sounding like her heart was hurting.
"Oh, after 1000 years, my sister." I laughed a little, and her eyes found mine again, and she gently head-butted my shoulder. "Hey, you got to tease me about Damon, Sweetie. I'll have to have a proper chat with you later, to explain why you feel this way, won't I?"
There was a small yip at that, and she started licking my face, the tears that had fallen at seeing her like this again, and at the fact my adopted son was now hopefully dead and that I was happy about this. "It's over. Rosalyn Aluia Petrova, it's over and now I think we can finally be happy. We can stay here..."
I pressed my forehead to hers, kissing her snout and then pulling back and moving back to her side, pushing her to lie down. "This is going to hurt, Rosalyn, I'm sorry, but it will." Touching her soft fur, I started the spell. "Phosmatos Trebum gyena somran lyca." After three times chanting it, her bones started snapping again, shifting slowly back into the human form I knew and loved.
At first there were just whines from the wolf, but soon there were cries and sobs of pain as her body became human again. "Izzi, Izzi, please, please tell me I didn't hurt someone, please..." She begged, not once has she ever begged me.
"No, my sister, you hadn't long turned when I found you. I don't think you had time to, and Jeremy's fine." I told her, taking off Damon's leather jacket and putting it over her shivering form. "I've got you, Rosalyn, I've got you."
