Rosalyn's POV

I groaned as I felt water splash onto my face and the cheeriness of my sister Izzi coming through the doorway as she barged in. "Rise and Shine!" she yelled causing me to cover my head with my arms.

"Izzi!" I yelled back and lunged for her, using my vampire speed to try and knock her back into the wall. I froze in place when she stopped me with her Magic and I just glared at her. "I don't want to get up..." I groaned, realising I actually had to get up. Today was my first day as the new High School teacher. I taught English, which meant I had to be on time and not forget that I was a Vampire...

Again.

It had been years since I had become a Vampire, and I have become so accustomed to it, I tended to forget to eat or to not show my fangs. Especially since Izzi here, was the only one I tended to hang with, and she just didn't care.

Both me and Izzi had been alive since the very first Vampire was created. I was the final ever Vampire to be created Via the Immortality spell. Not that, that all mattered right now.

I still glared at Izzi as I moved my way into the bathroom, before I shut the door and began to have my shower. I had to be there by 7:30am, and If I was correct, Izzi woke me up earlier than that so I could go grab some much needed breakfast.

We had been travelling for years, trying to figure out where the next doppelganger would show up, and it appeared that she would have showed up in the place her ancestor had died. Mystic Falls.

So here we were now, creating lives for us, for alibi's in case we needed them and how to get around. So there was that.

I finished my shower and climbed out, wrapping a towel around me before grabbing another and drying my now washed hair. I paused midway when I looked into the mirror, remembering what Izzi told me yesterday.

Elijah Mikaelson was around. She mentioned while on her delivery run yesterday that she had met up with him, and that he stated his brother was on the way. Which meant we had very little time to find and take the Doppelganger away, or if worse came to worse.

Kill her.

Which is why I was an English teacher, our doppelganger is in High School, and I planned to keep an eye on her there. Which was also harder than it looked because she seemed to have two Vampire Guards.

Those bloody Salvatore brothers.

I knew from the moment I found them with Vampire blood in their system, that they would be bad news. That they would get in the way. I could deal with them easily though, so that didn't bother me. As long as there wasn't a stake involved. It takes me forever to get blood out of my shirts and the stake wouldn't even kill me for more than a few minutes.

I finished rubbing my hair, making sure it was dry before I brushed it and let it bounce back in its natural curls. My hair had always had curls, I just managed to hide it from everyone over the centuries, I hated my curls sometimes, they got in the way, but now, they didn't bother me as much.

I began to apply some makeup, a little black eye liner and some pale skin coloured lipstick, as well as a bit of blush to make me look more alive before I pulled back, pursing my lips and smiling as I felt right.

Make up helped a lot when you were a vampire, you could easily hide your pale skin under the makeup, but I had darker skin anyway, since I lived a lot in the sun, I had a small tan, which carried on into my vampirism. Shaking my head to myself, I walked out into the bedroom and pulled on a nice pair of jeans and a blue and white shirt, something that I felt would suit me.

I made my way downstairs once I was finished, downstairs into the show knows as Briar Rose Flower shop. It was loosely based off one of my favourite stories. Sleeping Beauty, whose mother was called Briar Rose.
