Izabelah's POV
"Hey, delivery from Briar Rose Flowers?" I smiled, handing a clipboard to the receptionist as I tucked my long brown hair behind my ears. 100 years I'd been in the flower business, and these guys in Richmond had been my best customers for about 12 years of that. Although they didn't really know that these flowers were also used for rituals and spells.
I dropped off the delivery, then headed back to my van. Or at least I tried to. "Elijah Mikaelson, it's been what, 400 years since I've graced your presence?" I asked him, turning back around to look at him. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
He looked exactly the same, the same dark suit, perfectly modern and perfectly tailored for him. So he looked exactly the same as he was when I first gave his mother the spell to turn him, and the rest of their family into Vampire's. Elijah was the much better brother, the one that I hadn't had to try and kill over my 1000 years of life.
"Izabelah, I did not know you were in town. Still living, I see."
Raising my eyebrow, I unlocked my van, getting ready to get in and do a barrier spell if I needed to. I could easily take him, Witch beat Vampire, even an Original. Though I was the Original Petrova. "Nothing you can do to stop that, my Love. I see Rebekah remains in the box, as well as Kol, and who was the one who barely got 100 years..." I pretended to be confused, though I really knew his name. He hated me for the Vampire spell. "Finn, that was it. Pity, Kol was rather a lot of fun, considering I taught him every spell he ever learnt before my own spell turned you all."
"Are you aware of the latest Doppelganger? Elena Gilbert, I believe, she does very much resemble your good friend Katerina, as well as your own daughter Tattia." Oh, he was not going there. "You must know that my brother is nearly here, he knows that she exists."
Nodding, I played with my keys in my hand. "Yes, I am well aware of Elena. She's also under protection of two people we cannot allow to know of mine and Rosalyn's continued existence. He thinks that we were staked, or burnt." That was something I was definitely not doing again, it made your hair frizz rather a lot. "We must watch from afar until he arrives in Mystic Falls."
"Mystic Falls, I'm surprised it ended up with such a nice name after everything that has happened there over the millennia that it has been inhabited." Elijah murmured softly, and I was reminded of the time he was to marry my daughter, my Tattia. He was the gentlest man I'd ever met, and was a perfect match for her. She needed someone strong and kind to take care of her. "Though I think the amount of magickal blood that was spilt there..."
"Elijah, what do you want? I have a business to run, and I don't have time to talk to you all day."
His dark eyes found mine, and I very nearly left, having so many memories pent up. I knew that I looked a lot like my daughter, we were both tall, willowy and the only difference being her darker skin and deep honey eyes that she inherited from her father, Isaac, and that being near me, or one of the Doppelganger that broke my heart so often, was his only tie to the woman who should have been his wife. "I am sorry about Tattia. Once I found out what mother did..."
I waved him off, putting my hand over my necklace, a locket containing a lock of her hair. "Elijah, stop. Now. What do you want? Really? I can stop Niklaus, I have always been able to stop your brother, now please, tell me."
"Are you going to get involved? Katerina is in the Tomb, your own granddaughter risks her life on a daily basis, and you are waiting until he gets here? You could stop him at any time, Izzi."
Izzi, now there was a name he hadn't called me in a long time. Not since Tattia was sacrificed. "I do what I please, Elijah, and you know that. My long term mission is not to kill Nik, but to just stop him from breaking the curse. When the time comes, yes, I will kill or Turn Elena, but for the time being she is safe to live and to spend time with her current love interest." Stefan, the boring brother. I was always much more partial to Damon, there was something untameable about him, much like what drew me to Tattia's father in the first place. I'd been in love with him since the day I'd first met him.
