Fan's POV

I screeched, waves of pure painful torture crashing through my left side. My vision blurred with tears as my lightheaded self abruptly realized something was blocking my left eye from seeing anything, though I couldn't quite process what was stopping me from seeing past a dark void using that eye.

My ears rung intensely as my vision slowly got better, though not much. I could make out my surroundings well enough though, despite the overwhelming amount of pain coursing through me. The pain had faded somewhat, but only to the point where it was only a tad bit easier to keep myself conscious.

I stared at my shaky hands for a moment, still not processing what was happening. I knew I was in my... my car, yeah, I was in my car... but little white shards were scattered everywhere, and my windshield had simply ceased to exist at this point.

It still felt like I had a migraine but worse, but after a bit of sitting there my mind started to process things again, and I shakily and slowly unbuckled my seatbelt as my blurry vision faded a bit.

I, finally, with my thoughts somewhat gathered, pushed back the panicked feeling inside me and decided I needed to leave my car, so I reached out a trembling hand, clutching the car door's handle. I pulled hard on it, but of course, nothing.

I made a quick decision and looked at my shattered windshield, before carefully climbing over the steering wheel and onto the front of my car that was covered in shards of glass. The sharp edges of the clear colorless material poked and cut at the skin on my hands and legs, since I was on my hands and knees.

I carefully crawled off my car, falling off the hood and onto the soft grass that was still somewhat littered with glass. After a bit of time passed, which I spent regaining my strength and trying to not fall unconscious again, I slowly got up onto my feet, stumbling over to the trunk of my car.

I just barely recalled having set a medical kit in the trunk long ago, in case of emergencies. I hadn't checked to see if it was still there in a while, but I suppose now is better than never. Once I reached the back of my car, I weakly opened up the trunk and hurriedly peered inside, seeing the item I was looking for almost immediately. The medkit was there.

I lurched forwards with a newfound energy, grabbing the medical kit from the trunk of my car and quickly opening it up. I noticed that almost all of the medical items were missing from the kit. The only thing that was there was a roll or two of bandages, and some unused bandaids.

I took some of the bandaids and peeled the "wrapping" off, sticking them onto my cuts from the glass. A sharp throb of pain suddenly shot through my side, and I suddenly remembered how my left eye was still blocked my something, so I took this chance to look at my reflection in the glossy surface of my car. Crashed or not, it still worked fine as a mirror.

I took a look at my reflection and immediately stumbled backwards in shock. Almost the entire left side of my paper had been ripped off, and along with it, my left eye. Seeing my injury reminded me of the others, and I decided I should probably get them out of my car.

Knowing how much I struggled to stay conscious during this whole thing, I should probably assume they were unconscious and therefore incapable of getting themselves out on their own. So, of course, I would have to do it for them.

I wandered over to one of the back doors of my car, pulling on the handle experimentally. Of course, nothing happened, so I yanked on the handle harder, somehow managing to pry the door open.

But, as I gazed inside, I suddenly wished I hadn't.

Balloon was the first one I saw as he was the one in the seat closest to the door I had opened. He looked to be relatively okay, which was honestly surprising considering how delicate he was, but his arm did look to be broken, completely bent at an unnatural angle. I'd have to figure out how to fix that later, wouldn't I?

But, of course, that wasn't the thing that terrified me the most.

Lightbulb.. the top of her head was completely gone, shattered. She simply lacked a forehead at this point. If glass had blood, oh gee, blood would have gushed from the open wound like a waterfall colored scarlet. I knew I needed to help Lightbulb first, that gaping hole in her head wasn't going to do her any favors.

I gently picked up Balloon, moving him out of the car and setting him down on some grass relatively far from the car, where glass wasn't scattered everywhere like a minefield. Then I went back to the car for Lightbulb, moving her over to the place I'd set Balloon down at. Then I grabbed the medical kit, which was over by the car, and got to work.

They were both unconscious, of course, probably because of the pain. Balloon was more delicate and probably felt more pain from usually less painful injuries, and Lightbulb was just badly injured. I realized I had autopiloted bandaging up Lightbulb's head while I was thinking, so I just got straight to work with Balloon, wrapping bandages around his broken arm until it worked as some sort of strange soft cast.

I now realized how tired I felt, and stumbled over to a tree, plopping myself down onto the grass

and leaning against the tree behind me. I let my vision grow blurry once more, feeling myself slowly begin to drift off into the world of dreams. It wouldn't hurt to rest for a bit...

Just... a bit.

Lightbulb's POV

Darkness.

That little tiny word explained so much about what I was feeling right now. I saw darkness, felt absolutely nothing, not even a single sensation, and heard not a single blow of leaves or crunch  of sticks below your feet after you step on them. It felt so... odd.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp stab of pain in my forehead, bringing me back to reality. My vision blurred as my eyes were only half open, but I could feel the grassy floor beneath me and hear the chattering of birds in the distance, which was honestly reassuring in a way.

I groaned as the sharp stabs of pain descended into constant, never-ending waves of it, taking one of my hands and trying to place it where my forehead should be to maybe soothe the pain, but I never felt my glass surface, my hand passing right through those waves of pain.

"Whhaat...?" My confused and mentally exhausted self choked out, words slurring.

As my vision began to clear up, I noticed a red triangular figure, who I quickly recognized as Fan. He was leaning against a tree with his eyes closed. What happened to him? Half of his paper was all bandaged up.

I heard a voice pipe up from behind me. "Oh, Lightbulb." It was a high-pitched voice, like Mickey Mouse, and although the voice wavered quite a bit, I recognized the voice as Balloon's and responded. "What.. what happened..?" I asked him quietly, my voice shaky as well.

"We.. uh, we crashed in the forest." Balloon answered softly.

"Oh.." I looked around, noticing Fan was stirring, and was probably going to wake up.

"Well, er... what now?"
