Fan's POV

I wandered through the forest, dragging a stick behind me with one hand. I had to find Balloon and Lightbulb, and fast..

I paused, looking down. Tracks? There was a mix of tracks in the ground, some of them from an object and some of them from some sort of.. large animal.

I stood there for a moment, examining the tracks cautiously. What could have happened? Letting my curiosity get the best of me, I began walking along the path of animal and object tracks.

I noticed a sharp change in the tracks, quickly stopping to examine them once more. The object tracks had stopped and turned into skid marks, like something or somebody was dragged along the forest floor. The tracks were also lined with a velvet liquid I could only assume to be blood.

I nervously followed the tracks once more, afraid of what might await me at the end of the trail. That didn't stop my curiosity, though. I continued walking, pushing past prickly bushes and branches until I finally got a glimpse of something red from behind a large leafy bush.

It was more of a rubbery red, not as blood-colored as the red liquid that stained the tracks I'd followed.

I dropped the stick I was holding, brushing aside the leaves blocking my view, so I could see what was behind them. It was difficult to see during the night, so I peered closer, managing to make out what, or who, it was.

It.. it was..

Balloon?

I took a second look to confirm what I'd seen. That was definitely Balloon, however, he was badly injured, laying on the ground, unconscious.

His right arm had been ripped clean off, exposing bone and flesh, and one of his legs seemed to be broken. He was bleeding profusely from his arm, which wasn't good.

I cringed at the sight, quickly looking around in case the beast that had done this was nearby.

I approached hurriedly, gently picking up Balloon. I had to get him back to our camp, and fast.

Quickly pushing past some bushes and branches, I began hurrying back through the forest, keeping my eyes locked onto the trail I'd made with a stick earlier.

Lightbulb's POV

I sat quietly on the muddy forest floor. After I was separated from my friends, I had just been trudging through the forest, than realized I should just stay put and wait if I wanted to be found. After that, I'd just been here for a while.

I took a deep, shaky breath. It had gotten scarily quiet all of a sudden, which made me afraid.

Some bushes nearby rustled. My eyes immediately locked onto the area the noise came from, and I froze up, terrified.

The bushes moved more, and I heard a growl. Instantly, I jumped to my feet and ran. Out of the bush leapt a wolf, and then two more followed suit. I was now being pursued by three wolves. What luck..

I sprinted as fast as my feet could take me, and scanned the area for somewhere that I could use to.. maybe hide and get away from the wolves? Or at least, get out of their reach.

I skidded to a stop, finding myself at a river. I knew I couldn't swim through and get to the other side, else I would probably get electrocuted, being electric and all.

So, I panicked, looking around for somewhere to hide. A second or two after, I scrambled towards a tree, clawing at the bark with my hands and grabbing onto branches, pulling myself up.

I climbed higher as the wolves approached the tree, stopping and staring up at me with a menacing look in their eyes. I inched my way onto a branch that sat over the river, just to make sure I was safe from the wolves. My heart was pounding, and I was probably running on pure adrenaline.

One of the wolves tried climbing up the tree, clambering onto a low branch only for it to snap, and the wolf to fall onto the ground with a yelp. After that, they just circled the tree, and then eventually left.

I let out a sigh of relief, before slowly attempting to get off of this branch that was dangerously suspended over a body of water. Suddenly, however, I slipped, and fell headfirst through the air. I shut my eyes, waiting for the impact, but instead I felt a sharp pain in my foot, and never hit the water.

I opened my eyes to find myself upside down, dangling above the water. My foot was caught between some branches, so I was just.. there. I attempted to reach with my hands to get my foot free, before realizing if I did so I would just.. fall into the water. And get electrocuted.

I was stuck there, basically..

"Well dang it.."
