The love of a mother

The days of Fall had been passing by. It's been a couple of days since the battle against Monarch and his associate. Though Paris had recovered from the incident, Marinette didn't. She was still blaming herself for what happened, even though it wasn't her fault.

At school, Lila was eying Felix the whole day. She thought that he was Monarch, and what he told her was a lie to cover up for himself. Felix though, knew this was going to happen. So he was ready at the time.

After school, Felix and Chloe walked together through the gates. Lila on the other hand was stalking them, quietly following them.  They reached a crossing. She hid in an alley and peeked her head. She was so sure that Felix is Monarch. However, an akuma appeared in front of her and entered her necklace.

What? How's that possible? But Felix is there... She thought. A butterfly mask appeared in front of her.

"We meet again Lila Rossi." Monarch said.

He doesn't sound different from last time. This is the real Monarch. Guess I was wrong.

That's right Lila, I knew you would still suspect me. So I came prepared. Monarch thought.

One day ago.

"What are we gonna do about Lila?" SentiFelix asked.

"I didn't want to involve her. But, luck was on our side when I found her. We might've been exposed if it weren't for her. But since she's involved now, I might as well use her."

"Use her?"

"Yes, but she still suspects me. So I'm gonna need to make sure she doesn't first."

"How are you going to do that?" Felix put his hand up to his chin and thought about it for a few moments.

"You'll go to school tomorrow. Act normal. Then leave the rest to me. After that, I'm sure she'll prove to be a useful tool at the final fight."

Present time.

"So about our little agreement." She said.

"I'm listening."

"I want a miraculous."

"That's not possible. Do you think I can give you something to make you powerful enough to challenge me?" Lila smirked.

"I know you'd say that. But I still suspect Felix. So if you have nothing to lose, you might as well let me tell the authorities about it."

You little liar. You want to see my reaction and based on it confirm your doubts. He thought.

"Sure go ahead." She had her jaw dropped.

What? He didn't sound shaken at all. She thought.

"And here I thought we could reach an agreement. Guess we're done." He said.

"Do you have something to offer?"

"Help me get the miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir. After I'm done with them, you can have them for as long as you want. You can even have the miracle box." Lila smirked.

"Sounds like a deal." Monarch snapped his fingers and the akuma flew out of the necklace. It was instantly purified.

Excellent. I think I can call this a success. Monarch thought.

"Are you sure she can be your ally?" A mysterious voice spoke. Monarch was on top of a building when he turned and saw a man with a dark cloak covering him. Monarch was terrified.

I didn't sense or even hear him. I also can't sense any emotions coming out of him. Who is this guy?
