Kylie's POV:

I heard Savannah walk into the house and slam the door behind her. I sighed, my head throbbing. The sound of Savannah's footsteps pounding up the stairs made my slightly more awake. And three...two...one.

"IM BAAAACK!" Savannah screamed, turning on my light. I buried my head in my pillow, and a muffled groan escaped my lips.

Savannah's laugh echoed through the room, and she shook my shoulder.

"Wake up sleepyhead, it's only 11:30!" My best friend seemed so alert, happy. I thought she would be the opposite after Liam and the rest of the boys left.

"What are you so happy about?" I questioned, sitting up to look at her.

"Nothing, I just want to do something to take my mind off of Liam," She told me, shrugging her shoulders. Damn, she was such a good actress.

I needed some cheering up too, I guess.

"Let's go clubbing!" She suggested. I was too mentally exhausted to protest, so I came out of bed and went to go freshen up.

Savannah picked out a tight black dress and a pair of slutty heels.

"That's way too tight, my legs are gonna look horrible..." I said nervously, looking down at my disgusting body.

"Oh hush, you'll look hot," She tried to tell me, even though I wasn't convinced.

At about 12:45, Savannah and I were both ready and on our way to the club.

Something didn't seem okay, though.

I had a bad feeling about it. Maybe it was the fact that this was the first time we had fake ID's, but I don't know.

Sav and I made our way over to the bouncer, who happened to be an old friend of ours. He pulled us both into warm hugs and let us in with a wink. I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"Thanks Dan!" We told him, smiling genuinely.

We got into the club, which was COMPLETELY PACKED. I immediately began to feel self-conscious. But luckily the lights were really dim and you couldn't see much more than my silhouette.

"I'm gonna grab us a few drinks, k?" Savannah asked me, becoming more and more excited.

"Okay," I mumbled, staring at my surroundings. There was a huge bar to my right, packed with people. Hot guys buying drinks, slutty girls on the dance floor. They were all so skinny, I couldn't believe it. And they were getting hit on like crazy.

Savannah came back with our drinks and we started dancing. Guys came around, winking at us, but we were both taken in a way. Well, she was. I wasn't.

I tried to have fun the whole night, but I couldn't. All I kept thinking about was Niall, how I just let him slip through my fingertips.

I mentally beat myself up for it. Every second of every hour ticked by, the clock slowly taunting me.

After a few hours Savannah could see that I wasn't into it.

"C'mon, Ky, let's go," She told me, grabbing my hand and smiling sympathetically. I smiled back.

We called a cab and the car ride back was pretty much silent. The cab driver seemed familiar, but I couldn't really place my finger on who it was.

As soon as we got home, Savannah raced to the pantry, got some popcorn, and threw it in the microwave.

"What movie were you thinking?" I asked her, sifting through the bin of movies in my room.

"Pitch Perfect!" She told me, enthusiascially. Sav and I loved to watch either funny movies or sappy ones. But seeing as neither one of us were in the sappy mood, I was glad she chose Pitch Perfect.

***

"Ky! Wake up! Savannah rolled me off the couch and sat on me. The light coming from the window was blinding me

"Ow! Savannah, get off!" I shrieked pushing her off.

Savannah looked at the time on her phone and her eyes got wide.

"Kylie...there's something I need to tell you," She told me seriously. She helped me to my feet and sat me on the couch again. There's something reaaally wrong right now, Savannah is never serious.

"Yesterday at the airport, I got a call from a producer. She offered me job on this movie..." She started.

"That's great!" I told her, hugging her tightly.

"The thing is...filiming starts on Wednesday. They're flying me out today," Savannah said quietly, not bothering to look at me. All these thoughts just jumbled themselves up in my head. And my mouth was open, saying stupid shit before I could stop it.

"So you're just going to leave me? Drop every single thing and go film a fucking movie?" I asked her, getting louder and louder with each word.

"Are you actually serious right now?" She told me, her eyes narrowing.

"Yeah, I'm serious. So what are you gonna do? Just leave me?" I spat at her.

"Kylie! You don't own me! I don't need to stay here and take care of you! You're almost SEVENTEEN." Savannah said, sounding more and more annoyed.

"Yep, Savannah. Just LEAVE me like everyone else. Go to fucking Los Angeles and get rich and live a perfect life.  I don't need you." I said, knowing all too well that I did need her.

"WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE FUCKING HAPPY FOR ME FOR ONCE?" Savannah screamed, standing up.

"Just GO." I told her. Savannah walked over to the back corner of the room and pulled out her phone. I just sat there watching her get a car. She made a few trips carrying her suitcases from the corner of the room to the door and within about half an hour a car pulls up.

Not just any car. A limo. Of course. Savannah huffed and the driver came to help her with her bags. The door slammed behind her and I was all alone.

Again.

The one person that I thought would never leave me. And she's gone.
