Energy surrounded the portal, as bursts of energy went everywhere. Matt went up to David and punched him in the neck.
David: What Did You Do That For!?
Matt: You did the most stupid thing in the universe and opened a portal to the Netherworld causing every evil creature inside to be released at once!!!
David: I don't see how that's, so, bad, Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! I am really stupid; you may all slap me.
Spike, Ava, Luna, and Matt, all slapped him in the face quite violently.
Matt: What were those beams of light?
Spike: Creatures banished to the Netherworld returning to the last place they were when they were banished, I guarded it for 100 millennia until David the dumb over there opened it.
Everyone glared at David.
David: I caused monsters to get released all over the world, at once.
Spike: Yes.
The portal pulsed as the beams stopped coming out, ending with an unusual shadow rising from the portal, a large boney and rose from the portal. The hand grabbed onto the ground, it pulled its source up from the portal. It was a creature of massive size, covered in black and blue skin, with a body so thin you could see all of its bones, eyes at black as night, and a breath as that smelt of death.
Spike: Oh, great I forgot about the Draugr I banished here in the Relics Room.
David: What's a Draugr?
Matt: It's a type of zombie that originates from Norse mythology.
David: Then let's just slice him in the head with this axe.
He held up an axe he found lying around.
Matt: Draugar can only be killed 2 ways, no 1 slicing off its head, burning its body and throwing the ashes in the sea, or no 2 slice off his head and bury the body with his toes tied together.
David: Needlessly complex and excessively gory.
Spike: Yah that and the fact that no one would want to as they're really nasty with their breath, rotting flesh and their horrid nail problems.
The Draugr limped over towards them, breathing heavily.
Draugr: Spikesworth omar xii, þat's munið hviler. Ek still remember er þú banisheð mik til netherworld, inn þat var painful þar með allr fire, inn eyes at réttr keep staring á þú ok lackinn ór góð snack options. Nú fyrir minn revenge, ek'm going til gut þú ok þinn nýr vinar lítar school ór fiskr
All the others: What did you say?
Draugr: Ek segðumk ek'm going til gut þú lítar fiskr, en fyrir eigi óderstanding mik, ek munu gerþatr inn vilestinn leið possible, með burning þú alive
Spike: Sorry, we don't understand a word you're saying.
Draugr: Dey þú idiot kinder ok stupið dragon
The Draugr ran at them, trying to slice them apart with its discussing claws.
Matt: This is nasty.
The Draugr ran around, clawing and biting anything nearby.
David: How do we stop it?
Spike: We could trap it then we'd be safe but, to do that we'd also need to put it in so much pain it can't get away.
David thought of what he said, ran to the back wall and used the portal that sent only him back to the basement where they came from.
Spike: Did he just ditch us!?
Ava: Get used to it.
They kept fighting the Draugr to the best of their ability with the weapons they had. The Draugr wasn't getting hurt, every attack just fueled it, it grew stronger with the boundless amounts of pain. It was a losing battle, the Draugr was about to feast on their broken, battered, and severely wounded bodies, until the portal opened, with David coming through holding the barrel of carpet tacks.
David: Rot Face, over here!
The Draugr turned to see him.
David: Come and get me!
The Draugr ran to him at a veracious pace, David quickly dove to the side, and the Draugr tripped over and fell into the carpet tacks.
Draugr: Ek'm inn einn incredible amount ór pain. Einnhverr maðr fá mik doctorr sem fastr sem þú mega, þessi karpet tacks hurt
David: Although I don't understand a word your saying, I feel your pain, literally I still have some carpet tacks in my butt.
Spike: You beat the Draugr, with nothing but your own wits and a but ton of carpet tacks. You 4 might be able to, this could work, yes it will work, I can do it.
Everyone but Spike: With what?
Spike: Ending the war and fixing my past mistake. You've given me a second chance, to make things right. You 4, a New Hope!
