At the bottom of the Griffin's mountain, the burnt torn pieces of Draugr were on every rock and cliff, smelling of decay and smoke, never to be alive again, or would it. The pieces started tossing and turning, creeping towards each other, they stopped smoking and reformed, they merged together, tossing and turning as Draugr's body gruesomely reformed, his organs got replaced and his bones hardened, his skin was placed back on as he stood up straight, is empty eye sockets opened as his eyes crawled up his body and stuck themselves inside their right places, Draugr's body was remade.
Draugr: Much better, and I accidentally fixed my speaking problem remaking my body, nice.
???: So, you're finally back, traitor!
Draugr looked around and saw a glowing purple ghost of a female Viking with blond hair almost exactly like Ava's and as many scars as David has on his arm (from the carpet tacks, not from battle).
Draugr: Astrid, it's a pleasure to see you again.
Astrid: Feeling isn't mutual Aki the traitor.
Draugr: What did I do!?
Astrid: You betrayed us, you let us all DIE!!!
Astrid punched Draugr in the gut, flying him high in the air and into a stone wall.
Draugr: What happened after Zalmore killed me.
Astrid: Zalmore's army overpowered us, and Hel didn't feel like sending us to Valhalla, instead she cursed us to live in-between life and death, doomed to live as false ghosts until we've redeemed ourselves and won a war.
Draugr: Well, she wasn't very forgiving on me either, she made me an undead abomination who is addicted to treasure and can only go to Valhalla once I've had a Viking funeral.
Astrid: You can survive basically everything, grow to any size you want and control the weather.
Several blue and purple ghosts faded into view, all of them scowling at Draugr in disappointment. Two of the ghosts grabbed his arms and started to drag him away.
Draugr: What are you doing!?
Astrid: Hel cursed us because of you, so chief Roar will decide your fate.
The two ghosts grabbing onto Draugr dropped him Infront of a male Viking ghost with a golden helmet, more scars than David has, and an impressive red beard. He spoke in a soft but noticeable voice that commanded attention.
Roar: Aki the traitor, it is a pleasure to see you, so you may suffer punishment for what you've done.
Draugr: Wow, normally I'd hear that being said to Spike, feels weird being on the receiving end of it. Anyway, chief Roar, please let me redeem myself.
Roar: What will do that? A game of chess? Trial by fire? Asking Hel politely to lift the curse?
Draugr: The Kral Zerra.
Roar: You're challenging me for the title of chief! You do know that if you lose, we will decapitate you, and sacrifice your body to the gods and force your head to watch.
Draugr: I've been through worse; I did blow myself up fighting a storm god.
Astrid: You have to explain that later.
Roar: I'm giving you one last chance to back out of this guaranteed commitment to suicide.
Draugr: Of course, I do, geez it's like we didn't grow up together.
Roar: You have a point, the challenge has been accepted, let the Kral Zerra commence.
A few hours later, Draugr and Roar were in a round arena in the middle of the cavern with all the other ghosts around them. They went to a weapon stand, Roar selected an axe, and Draugr chose a shield with a skull painted on-top.
Roar: You always choose a shield, good for defense, and nothing else, quite ornate and simple but you do you.
Draugr: Well, you always choose an axe, which isn't always the best choice.
They went to either side of the arena and prepared for battle.
Roar: The rules are as follows, first out of the arena loses the match, no bows and arrows are to be allowed, and once the match begins no one can surrender unless they want to be fed to a giant kraken with anger issues.
Draugr: I've never realized this before, but that last rule is oddly specific, kind of weird actually.
Roar: Let the Kral Zerra commence!
Several purple flames lit around the arena. Roar ran at Draugr and swung his axe in all directions, Draugr dodged a few attacks and block others with his shield, Draugr tried to use his strength to knock Roar out of the arena, but none were landing on his transparent and intangible body. Roar held out his hand and made massive chains wrap around Draugr's body, stopping him from moving, Draugr tried to fight it off when Roar grabbed Draugr's throat.
Roar: This is pathetic, you were once the greatest warrior in our tribe as Aki the Unstoppable, but when Zalmore came, you became a shell of your former self, you are NOT AKI THE UNSTOPPABLE, YOU'RE A FAKE!
Draugr: You're right.
Roar: What!?
Draugr: I died, I'm not Aki the Unstoppable, he is the shadow of my former life, but now I have a purpose, I have friends, and a task, get an army to win the war, and I WILL, because I am DRAUGR THE UNDEAD!!!
Draugr grabbed the chains and pulled hard on them, they started to crack until they burst and shattered, he held his hand in the air and summoned a bolt of lightning that completely paralyzed Roar's body, Draugr grabbed his shield and tossed it at Roar like a Frisbee, Roar slammed into the wall when the edge of the shield smashed into his stomach, the shield returned to Draugr. Draugr grabbed Roar's shoulder and tossed him out of the arena.
Draugr: I win.
Astrid: The winner of the Kral Zerra is Aki, I mean Draugr, our new chief if Draugr the Undead.!
Roar floated up to Draugr and placed his golden helmet on Draugr's head.
Draugr: Everyone prepare for battle, for tomorrow we take the fight to Zalmore himself!
