After 7 days of sailing, Matt, Ava and Spike finally reached the golden sands of Camelot's former beaches, they docked the boat and walked up the cliff to the ruins of Camelot.
Ava: Where will Excalibur be when we get to the ruins.
Spike: According to my research, it should be in a large chamber inside a huge rock.
Matt: So, look for a big circular area with broken pillars around it.
They climbed up the cliff and finally made it to the top. On the cliff was a ruined kingdom with huge broken castle in the center.
Matt: What happened here!?
Spike: Merlin and Morgana Le Fay waged an epic battle here for centuries, Merlin lost an eye and a foot, Morgana lost an arm and a head.
Ava: Wow, all that happened here!?
Spike: That's why Camelot looks like this now, Excalibur should be in the castle.
They wandered through the ruins, headed towards the castle, seeing the horrible conditions the city was left in. Ava picked up a child's teddy, dusted it off, and put it in her bag. They entered the castle and looked around for the inner chamber.
Matt: Where are you Excalibur?
???: I don't know, but I know where You ARE!
Matt: Who said that?!
Spike: What, Matt who are you talking to?
Matt: I heard a woman's voice, a creepy one of that.
Spike: Could that mean.?
Ava: Matt, Spike, check out what I found.!
They followed Ava to a massive round arena, with a large rock in the middle. Inside the rock was a massive fancy sword with shiny golden detailing. The sword was so deep in the sword, it was up to its handle.
Spike: You found Excalibur, the sword whose flames could defeat all foes it faces with the fury of 10 000 suns.
Matt: I'm going to be the one who pulls it out.
Matt reached out to the sword and grabbed its handle, he summoned all of his strength and pulled with all his might. Spike and Ava stared with anticipation, tension kept building until, nothing happened. The sword didn't even wiggle.
Ava: Mabey me and Spike should try.
Spike grabbed the handle and pulled, sparks flew from his body, flying in all directions, but nothing happened. Ava stood on the stone and pulled on Excalibur, even though nothing was happening she just kept pulling, she wasn't giving up. They waited for ages, with Ava still pulling on the handle, Matt was about to stop Ava when the creepy voice returned.
???: Hello again, welcome to your demise.
A fog fell around them, with glowing red orbs in every direction, the fog deepened as a glowing red figure appeared from the mist, the figure had long hair, shiny armor, sharp teeth, and a massive claw on her only arm, the figure was a ghost, a ghost with the symbol of Camelot on her armor, and the words 'Stórr Fimm' carved into her back.
Spike: Morgana Le Fay!? You're a ghost now, and a member of the Big Six, Zalmore's most loyal followers!?
Matt: Can't we go one day without the possibility of dying at the hands of Zalmore's followers.
Morgana: Prepare to die, as your friends die finding an army, and that girl friend of yours is failing to pull out Excalibur.
Matt: What!?
Spike and Matt turned around to see Ava is still trying to pull out Excalibur.
Matt: Stop that right now, this is not the time.!
Ava: It's starting to budge.
Morgana floated into the air and shot multiple fireballs in all directions, followed by big spears of red ice. Matt held out 2 of his Spirit Knight cards and used them to make a force field of pure energy, the cards disappeared.
Spike: How did you make that force field!?
Matt: This is the last thing I learnt from the Spirit Knight guide before I had to give it to Redrix Nightwing. I also didn't learn anything else, other than the spirit seal and banishing ghosts.
Spike: Well, that's perfect.
Matt: This barrier won't hold her attacks forever, it will fail eventually so maybe attack her!
Spike got into position and shot bolts of white lightning at her, Morgana was unaffected as the lightning went right through her.
Spike: Of course, she's immune to electricity, does everything we do have to be hard.
Morgana started chanting a curse, the curse started to eat away at Matt's force field. Matt got out 4 more cards and made 2 more barriers, one in front of the other, trying to buy them time as the curse kept spreading. The more Morgana blasted the barriers, the farther Matt and Spike were pushed back, Matt's heel touched Excalibur's rock, half of Excalibur's blade started to glow until Matt moved his foot off the rock, Ava noticed this and got an idea.
Ava: Matt, step backwards onto Excalibur's stone.
Matt: What!?
Ava: Half of Excalibur glowed when you touched the rock, maybe the reason why no one person pulled out the sword is because no one person can pull out the sword, you need multiple people to do it, if you and Spike touch the stone, I might pull Excalibur out.
Spike flew up to the stone and rested his talon on-top, half of Excalibur flew, Matt saw this and placed his right foot on the stone, Excalibur started fully glowing. Ava squeezed the hilt and pulled on Excalibur, the sword started to move, it kept being pulled out until it was fully out, Ava held it in the air as it set ablaze. Matt lowered the barriers as Ava ran in with Excalibur in hand, she jumped up and delivered a massive slice to Morgana's chest, she screamed in pain as a huge line of energy formed at the impact spot, Matt held out a card and threw it underneath Morgana.
Matt: Spirit Seal appear.
Morgana got bound in a circle of light that squeezed in on her, Matt got out one more card and threw it at Morgana's chest.
Matt: The torment from malicious specters living souls shall do without, I banish you spirit, cast you out.
Light shot from the card as Morgana tried to escape, she was sucked in with her body being turned to ash, when Morgana disappeared the card flew back to Matt, with a picture of Morgana's ghost on it.
Matt: We did it, we got all the weapons needed to beat Zalmore.
Spike: The others must have found an army by know and are on their way to Zalmore's base in the Dyeing Caverns.
Ava: And where is that?
Spike: In a frozen cave, at the top of, Mt Everest.
Ava: Of course, can't we ever do things simply, like find the bad guy, kick him in the butt, save the day.
Matt: No idea.
They left the castle, with Ava carrying Excalibur over shoulder.
