I see the Bogeyman in my bed

It was late at night, the relics room was dark, and everyone was asleep, except for David. Ever since he released all the monsters from the Netherworld, he's been having horrid nightmares where a creepy being crawls up his bed and shreds his sheets to pieces, before he slices his stomach open.

David: Why do I have these nightmares so often? Is it because of when I opened the portal, or something else?

???: Wouldn't you like to know. I'm sure that you'll be alright, once your soul leaves your human body, FOREVER!!! Mahahahahaha!!!!

David: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone in the place was awoken by the scream (except for Draugr (being undead means he's a perfect sleeper)) they all came to David's room and started complaining.

Battle-Oni: What was that for, Battle-Oni was having a dream where he was on a onigiri mountain, eating a plate of mochi.

Matt: Those are some oddly basic dreams.

Battle-Oni: Oni are very simple creatures, with brains literally the size of peas. But he asks why did the tack magnet wake us all up?

Matt: He's have had nightmares ever since he opened up the portal to the Netherworld. They've been highly annoying.

Battle-Oni: What are they about?

Ava: Some sort of monster.

Battle-Oni: Tack magnet, please describe the monster.

David: Stop calling me a tack magnet, anyway the monster has creepily long arms, legs, toes and fingers, spines coming out of back, big teeth, no nose, black eyes, and no nose.

Battle-Oni and Spike stared at each other with fear, they turned to David.

Spike: That's an exact description of the Shadow Lurker.

Matt: Who's the Shadow Lurker?

Spike: Noctoghist, or in your tongue, the bogeyman.

David: Guys I thought you said there was no bogeyman.

Luna: That was before we found out monsters actually exist!!!

Spike: The bogeyman is a creature that's neither a ghost nor a demon, he is the only thing in between, he's existed ever since the first nightmare in history, and he rules all dreams in the world.

David: So, I'm stuck with these nightmares.

Spike: Until he decides to leave.

Matt: What do you mean by leave?

Spike: Don't you know that the bogeyman can only cause you to have nightmares when he's in the same room.

Matt: That means, we can find him and stop him from causing the nightmares so we can get some sleep.

Luna: Great, we're on a late-night hunt for one of Zalmore's followers.

Battle-Oni: He's not one of the demi-demon's followers, he's not even one of his enemies, he remains neutral.

Spike: How do you know that?

Battle-Oni: Battle-Oni was there when the bogeyman refused to join the demi-demon's army.

The six of them split up and searched the room, Matt search a hole in the wall he found (all that was there was a lump of gold worth about 83 Zs, and a dead rat covered in rot and maggots) Ava and Luna searched around the bed finding David's mace, and Spike, Battle-Oni and David looked around the shelves, causing David to trip over, step onto his skateboard, roll across the room, get flung into the air, and of course land in the barrel of carpet tacks.
