In the Relics Room, Spike and David just came back from the mountains of wind, they got the seven-league boots, after climbing up and falling down the mountain several times.
David: We got the boots, and while we've been falling down mountains, do you know what the Tide Jewel does?
Ava: No, all we know is that it can use water to make tiny figurines.
Luna was holding the Tide Jewel, making different shapes out of water, including unicorns, Spike, Draugr, the Näcken, and the Pontianak.
Ava: Other than that, it's useless.
David: Mabey Draugr knows what else it does. By the way where is he?
He turned around and saw Draugr playing a chess game with Matt.
Spike: Isn't it dangerous having him not tied up?
Matt: He's actually not a bad guy, once he no longer wants to bite your head off.
Draugr: Kheckmate again, með leiðrinn ek gereigir veit hvatvetnelrer um fjóririnn weapons, fleiri þan þeir're awesome
Matt: What!? How are you so good at this?
Draugr: Munu einn ódeað abomination means ek hafar lot ór tími á minn hands
Matt: Can I try on the boots?
David: Sure.
Matt put on the boots and started running at high speeds, he was a natural. Everyone was having fun until a huge explosion occurred. Everyone was blown across the room in several directions, all of them looking at a huge monster with massive arms reaching to the floor, small legs, a huge mouth, and a dead eyed stare. The creature also seemed to be made of mud and grass and was facing towards Spike.
Spike: Not you again, why do I need to re-meet so many of Zalmore's followers.
Matt: What is that thing?
Draugr: Þat's golemrinn!
Luna: What?
Draugr: The Golem!
Spike: It is a clay doll brought to life by black magic, it's also very vindictive, I accidently dropped it on a grassy field once, and it then made that massive body around it so it can get its revenge! Luckly, I tricked it into a banishment to the Netherworld, though it wasn't permanent.
David: How do we stop it?
The golem turned around, picked David up, and dropped him in the barrel of carpet tacks headfirst so, it could no longer here David's voice.
David: Why do we still have this thing?
The golem then turned its attention back to Spike, it raised its arm into the air, and smashed Spike into the ground. It slowly walked closer to Spike, it didn't just want to hurt him, it wanted to destroy him!
Luna: What do we do?
Matt: I read that the Golem is the only one of its kind and is only stoppable by satisfying its desire for revenge or taking the doll out of its chest.
Ava: I can do that.
She ran at the golem, she pulled her arm back and lunged it inside its muddy body. She reached in, felt something hard, and ripped the doll out of its chest. The golem's body froze, it stood up straight, and exploded as a pile of mud and grass in every direction.
Ava and Luna: Gross.
Spike got back up, and David got out of the barrel.
Spike: You captured him, hooray.
Ava: What do you mean?
Spike: That clay doll is the real golem, that massive body that just exploded was just a shell for it to get revenge on the one who dropped it.
David: So, it makes a body of mud whenever it wants revenge.
Spike: No, its body is made of whatever material it landed on.
Luna: What do we do with it now?
Before they could decide, Ava dropped the golem, it was almost on the ground when Draugr nudged it onto a pile of books. A red glow came from the clay doll, paper swirled around it, forming a body exactly the same as before, but made of paper not mud.
Draugr: Hvat hafþúr done?
Ava: This is the kind of mistake David makes, NOT ME!!!
Draugr: Vér're allr going til dey!!! ok ek hafbókr klub á þórs dagher
The golem swung its arms in all directions, it had a thirst for blood! Roaring and smashing, the relics room was going to be destroyed, a fate that was inevitable. Luna ran to a shelf and grabbed one of her potion bottles, throwing it at the golem. The golem's arm froze in a block of ice, for 3 seconds as it quickly broke free. It had Ava cornered, but didn't hit her, instead it went after Draugr, as the last one to touch the golem as it fell, the golem thought that Draugr was responsible, so it targeted him.
David: What will we do?
Spike: Hmmmm, I know, Draugr use your power to change your size, become bigger than him.
Draugr: Oh yeh, ek forgot ek meggerar at. Rocks fyrir brains, prepare til fit einnhverr maðr eigi þinn own size
Draugr glowed a dark shade of blue and white, growing bigger than the golem. He delivered a punch on the golem, but all that happened was the golem gave Draugr papercuts so deep his hand fell off. The golem punched him hard in the gut, knocking him into the air.
Spike: What will we do?
Matt looked around and remembered he was still wearing the seven league boots. He stood up and ran in circles.
Luna: What are you doing?
Matt: The source of the seven league boots is a force so powerful this golem won't stand a chance, a monster for monsters, something Zalmore wishes he was, a full blood demon.
Winds surrounded him, spiraling in all directions, from the spiral, came a spiral of wind, a tornado!
Matt: Presenting, the only known Netherworld monster that is an enemy of Zalmore, The Devil's Wind.
The Devil's Wind faced towards the golem, and a creepy face came out and made a massive scream as it charged in the direction of the golem. The golem was tossed around like a rag doll, almost like the Devil's Wind was toying with him, it picked the golem up, and tossed it so far in the air it will never return. The Devil's Wind sunk into the ground and disappeared.
Spike: Take those off.
Matt tried to take the boots off, but the stuck like glue!
Spike: Looks like the boots have chosen you as their owner, until you die, use them wisely, they're not toys, and don't use the Devil's Wind as a quick way out of your problems, it's only to be summoned in an emergency.
Matt: Understood.
