Sorry this chapter's short!
I sat on the rough carpet, getting threatened. By Jordan.
"Back off, okay! Ethan's mine, and he always will be! You seriously need to go away!" She exclaimed, going all out with the hands and neck moving.
It was kind of funny seeing her get all annoyed just because Ethan hugged me. Candice got up and walked up to Jordan, who was still glaring intensely at me.
"Listen, Jordan. I get that he's your boyfriend, but Alyssa isn't any threat." She informed her.
"Like you know anything! Why is Carter here anyways?!" She questioned, now switching her glare to Candice.
"None of your business." She answered, pulling me up and dragging me away to history.
"Alyssa! Candice!" The teacher clapped, as we entered the room. Jordan took fifteen minutes threatening me.
"There you are! I was wondering if you skipped class. But that won't happen, am I right?" She told us and we nodded in reply.
We chose seats in the last row, whispering about the recent events that took place today.
"Alright so we are going to be doing a project about the aztecs. I am asigning partners. No trading and if you do, you get an automatic zero. This project is half a letter grade, so put some effort into it." She informed us, looking at some of the girls a little longer. Candice and I looked at each other and I bit my lip.
"Alright, go sit with your partner after I call your name. The project is due on August 25. You have 2 weeks to complete it."
"Hannah and Sam, Maloney and Andrew, Emily and Bri, Cece and Sebastian, Candice and Alyssa..." She read off a paper, rarely glancing up. I glanced over at Candice, displaying a silly grin. We high-fived and did a little happy dance in our seats. People looked at us with confusion, some with judgy (is judgy an actual word?) faces.
Then an idiot spoke up, "Hey Alyssa. Are you trying not to pee your pants?" He asked, smirking.
Urgh, I just want to slap him!
People started laughing and the people who knew what happened explained to the people who didn't, and soon everyone was laughing. The teacher just shook her head and gave me an apologetic look.
"Ali? Just ignore them. They're going to get over it. Just don't give them the satisfaction of them annoying you." Candice told me, smiling softly, and then giving everyone else dirty looks. Except the teacher though.
Most people were still giggling and looking my way.
After 10 minutes of that the notes started. Basically, we had to write about how the aztecs lived, how they made into central America and stuff.
I sat down on one of the circular tables with an Candice right next to me. Naomi was in line and Ethan was walking over with his hands behind his back.
I narrowed my eyes at him and he grinned back.
He sat down on the other side of me and brought out a Walmart bag. He took out four big granola bars.
"Do you guys want some? My mom wants me to be healthy and stop eating chocolate! How can you not eat chocolate?!" He exclaimed, shaking his head furiously making the bag whip into someone's face.
"Seriously Ethan?!" She scowled.
"RUN!" Ethan screamed and sprinted to the cafeteria doors. Candice and I laughed at him while Naomi ran after him, and Ethan screamed even more. We were laughing until someone stood in front of me, smirking then sitting next to me.
"Why were you guys laughing?" Shawn asked, smirking even more when he saw our annoyed looks.
"OMG! Lookie it's Shawn!" A girl screeched, running towards us and planting kisses all over his face.
By the end of it I looked disgusted, scrunching my nose up and looking at the girl who looked satisfied. I looked over at Shawn and surprisingly he wore the same face as me. Not literally though, that would be really creepy.
"Did you have to do that, Eve?" He asked, frowning at her.
"Yeah." She replied in a "Duh" voice. "Did you not want me to do it?" She asked, frowning at him.
"Just go away, Eve." He shooed. She huffed and strutted away.
"What's with people strutting everywhere? Honestly, they aren't princesses." I said, staring at Eve as she kissed some other guy's poor face.
"I guess they just think it gives them power or shit." She replied, grimacing at Eve.
"ALYSSA! CAN- NAOMI! STOP! IT WAS JUST A FREAKING PLASTIC BAG!" Ethan demanded, in a pleading voice. Shawn laughed at him, while Candice and I giggled like lunatics.
"I see why you were laughing." Shawn told us, before starting on another set of laughs that made us laugh.
"Please, honey! You have to come! It would be rude if we didn't go with our daughter! Just for me?" My mom pleaded. She was asking me to come to Shawn's house. Apparently they invited us over since we just moved in. I looked at my mom's pleading face and gave in.
"Fine. But do I have to wear a dress?" I grumbled, while my mom gave out a relieved sigh and smiled.
"Of course, sweetheart. I'll help you, or we could go shopping." My mom answered, saying the exact things that I didn't want her to say.
