It was Monday and I was in history. I also found out that Jordan just had an obsession over Ethan, and they weren't actually dating. At the moment Candice and I were researching for our project. I honestly didn't want to do this project. I mean, school just started and we're doing a project?! Like, what the heck?! This part of time in school is for getting used to coming to school, dealing with bitches, and nosy teachers. Why do you need to know why I was late? Nope, you can just continue the lesson and ignore me.Right, so Candice is telling something that I'm kind of tuning out of. I know, I'm a horrible friend. Ugh! Oh well.
"...So then, Leo came up in my face and said the most stupidest thing ever. 'she cute, she bitchy, she rude, or nah?'" Candice looks at me in bewilderment. I silently laugh at the face. Her nose was scrunched up, her eyes squinted, and her left eyebrow raised.
"Wow. That's really...stupid. Yup, I agree with you." I replied, nodding. I suck at lying, I mean you will notice that I'm lying. I smiled at her, and looked ahead as the teacher called attendance.
I guess Candice was too absorbed in her story to notice this and she turned to the front with the same funny look.

School passed by crazy fast and soon I was back on the bus, eavesdropping on the boys talking behind me.Don't judge, you all have done it as well.
"'You're kidding right?'" A boy asked in a squeaky high voice. The listeners laughed and I simply rolled my eyes. I mean, it wasn't even funny, unless you think hearing a boy's voice cracking is funny. Stupid guys, they're so stupid. They're immature and annoying to no end. Like Ethan, he was so immature with that joke, (in chapter 2.) Stupid people, can't they shut up?! What am I doing?! Meh, my life is so boring. Oh my god, I need to call Maxine!
Today, I learned that my school is having a summer formal. Celebrating the new school year. It was in two weeks, Candice couldn't shop with me since she was Vice President of the student council and was busy. She was going to the dance though, unlike Naomi. Apparently Naomi didn't want to see her ex. He broke up with her and she wanted to wallow in ice cream. We didn't stop her, it was her life; her decisions.
We should probably skip with her but I didn't really know her and Candice was way too busy.
"Oh yeah? I heard she was making out with Charlie!" A squeaky voice offered, almost slapping me across the face. I heard a high-pitched scream that made me cringe, sitting on my hands so I wouldn't be rude and cover my ears. To be honest, I didn't care if I was rude, I just don't get the point of covering your ears. I mean, you'll still be able to hear.
But I guess that's just my opinion as all the students covered their ears in different ways, the bus driver swerved left, barely missing a white Honda.
"Hey, Marla! Stop fucking screaming all the time, alright?!" A familiar voice exclaimed, it was deep yet soft and right now it also sounded annoyed. Who had that voice, it was a guy, I only know two guys.
Ethan or Shawn.
Ethan didn't have a deep voice, so it had to be Shawn. I hadn't seen him since the sleepover at his house. I was too embarrassed to actually talk to him. Naomi however keep blabbing about how she would make him fall for her. Her current plan was to go with me to talk to him, since I 'know' him. Candice kept zoning in and out, giving fake smiles to Naomi when she looked at her. I was planning to stick my head out in the aisle to find him, but the bus driver hit the curb, making my head bash into the back of the seat.
I heard groans, whoops, and shrieks. I kept my forehead against the seat staring at a torn part, the stuffing pushed to the side making me see the metal. I squinted trying to see if there were scratches on the metal, probably looking really weird.
"Why are you squinting, Lyssa?" Someone asked, resting their head right beside mine. My eyes widened, and I turned to my left, blinking at the brown eyes that looked hazel in the sunlight. They blinked back, squinting when the owner smiled. I gulped twice and breathed out, my eyes locking on the stuffing.
"Just looking at metal...you know" I replied nonchalantly, not daring to look back at the intriguing eyes. My forehead shook, as the person chuckled softly.
"Of course. Metal is just such a...?" He trailed off, glancing at me.
"Hazelnut." I blurted out, shutting my eyes immediately. It was the first thing that came to my mind. I was thinking about his eyes and then food came into my mind. I pressed my lips together, trying to hide my pink cheeks.
I could basically see his eyes scrunched up, judging my mentality. I felt my hair being moved, a rough hand brushed past my earlobe, a shiver going through my body at the contact. I opened my eyes, meeting the dark hazel eyes, staring right back into mine.
"Shawn! Come over here, my man!" A guy exclaimed, punching his shoulder. He looked at me and his mouth formed an 'o', he bit his lip and looked back at Shawn.
"Well...um..yeah ok...bye." He stuttered, jetting down the aisle and into the seat three rows down. Shawn sighed, and dropped his hand. Without looking back at me, he left, walking back down the aisle, and going into the same seat as the 'my man' guy. My mouth was gaping open, my mind replaying what happened a second ago. Shawn just... Whatever. I shook my head, sitting back and staring at the writing again.
Well then.
