She blinked as she was standing inside a giant castle-like room, outfits surrounding her, floating majestically in the air. "Everything is so pleasing except for those metallic pants with that brown button-up, it'll look so much better tucked in darker brown skinny jeans" The outfit then changed to her saying making her cheer in delight. At least in this reality, I have taste, but right when she was cheering the floor and wall began to disappear as well as the clothes.
"No don't leave me," she cried hugging herself for warmth. She felt cold, almost as if she was in a pool filled with ice-cold water, her body floating in the darkness that held small fragments of stars. Doing the one thing every funambulist wouldn't recommend, she looked down. A soft airy gasp escaped the girl's lips, below her was what she assumed was amphibia due to its lily pad-shaped continent.
"What am I doing here?" she questioned looking around, but then stopped. In the distance she saw a giant open book, she soared through the air inching closer to the pages, it was filled with small details and photos that she recalled seeing. She trailed her finger on the page holding the photo of King Andrias clawing at the calamity box with red eyes surrounding him and the loss of land and lives. "What are you trying to show me," she pleaded softly her fingers pressed at the destruction of the land. The pages then begin to shake making the girl move back.
She gasped watching as the pages then flipped quickly being filled with photos and words endless words that pounded inside (Y/N)'s mind. (Y/N) gripped her head screaming in agony, "stop no it hurts," It felt like a hammer was striking her skull. Then it stopped right when she was accepting her fate of endless pain, "First day of Wartwood!"
Huh?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Groaning (Y/N) pressed one hand on her pulsing head and the other one on her mark that was heating her already overheated body, she panted trying to gain her breath the heat from Wartwood which was overwhelming additional to the thin blanket covering her body.
Not these memories coming back, they aren't going to change my mind on Bulltin.
(Y/N) then felt a tug from the bottom of the blanket, "come on (Y/N) it's my first day here," Marcy exclaimed too enthusiastically for (Y/N) to handle. She didn't feel like going outside at the moment and knew if she joined Marcy, she would get involved in an energy-consuming fiasco.
"Ughhh, five more years," (Y/N) groaned burying her head in the blanket as Marcy continued chanting, "first day in Wartwood!" She wished her groan was fake, but the piercing headache made it easy to conjure. Then Marcy kicked open the door, (Y/N) instantly grabbed the hidden dagger inside one of the drawers on the side of the bed and pointed it at the door.
"Whoo! Look out, Amphibia. It's Marcy's first day in Wartwood!" Marcy shouted running away and continuing her previous chant, completely thrilled at getting to explore the new environment. (Y/N) sighed in relief lowering the dagger but then covering her eyes taking the moment to groan loudly as the headache grew as well as her heart. It was beating loudly in her ears insinuating the adrenaline her body released was working. Slowly she got up and began her daily stretch, she heard more pops than usual since Marcy and (Y/N) had to share a twin bed. She wasn't going to complain, every night was like sleeping with an oversized and very clingy teddy bear. But if she had to complain about anything it would be the humid air that Wartwood had compared to the breezy salty air of Newtopia. She wished she could wear her sports bra and shorts but after Marcy passed out red the first time she suggested, she didn't go through or bring it up again.
She walked to the door that Marcy clumsily left open and closed it then made her way to the small kitchen before stopping in front of the count. Smiling she grabbed her bubble-themed teacup that was aside from Marcy's half-empty creeper mug. She took off the 'Marcy was here' note and turned it around,
