(Y/N) was lucky Anne had convinced her parents to not send her to the hospital or contact her father while she was unconscious. She felt an enormous amount of guilt when she woke up on Anne's bed, with Anne in a sleeping bag on the ground next to her.
Apparently, the night before the Plantars rested on the couch downstairs in the living room, while Anne took care of (Y/N) and eventually fell asleep next to her. It took a while to convince Mrs. Boonchuy since she kept insisting that (Y/N) was a guest but after (Y/N) suggested staying in the attic, Mrs. Boonchuy accepted.
Only after the Plantars and Anne deep cleaned the attic did (Y/N) change her location. It was awkward between the two, mainly cause (Y/N) kept making it awkward. She didn't want to face Anne alone knowing she would've brought up her meltdown, but she also didn't want Anne to feel guilty for her avoidance which is why she blurt out an apology and leave every time Anne approached her.
(Y/N) was now laying on a twin-sized mattress that was against the wooden wall, she buried herself in blankets and pillows. She struggled to even get out of bed most days, only leaving the attic for food and water. Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy were saints since they gave her space and a room, but she felt guilty every stay and meal. When she suggested paying them, Mr. Boonchuy was about to accept but was interrupted by Mrs. Boonchuy who stated that all (Y/N) had to do was get better.
If they knew what I did, all the mess I've made cause I couldn't follow my dad's single instruction, would they still want to help me? She thought turning her body to the wall.
She caressed the back of her neck; the chip was still attached to her since no one knew how to take it off without harming (Y/N). She stared ahead at the wooden wall, her hand trembling as she rubbed the cold device, it felt like multiple rows of tiny knives were piercing the back of her neck, she couldn't even apply any pressure to it without groaning in pain.
Sighing, she closed her eyes letting her hand rest on the pillow. She wanted to just rip out the chip and get it over with but every time she secretly tried; she'd only give up.
"I miss you, Marce," she whispered to herself. She held the blanket tighter almost in a way hugging it, "I miss you every time I close my eyes"
(Y/N) then froze up feeling a presence in the corner of the room, she didn't hear anyone open the door making the feeling even more eerily.
"I'm glad you're okay"
She hated that word, okay, would that emotion even be anywhere near how she felt? Who in the world is, okay? How could it get any worse?
(Y/N) groaned as she placed her hand over her face in distaste, "shut up," she said turning her teary eyes to the one being that was able to appear and disappear.
"Oh I have daddy issues and can't express myself so I close myself off to everyone ooh I'm such a bad girl I deserve nothing at all," Goo(Y/N) pretended to whine.
(Y/N) looked at them offended, "that is not how I talk"
"You're right you sound even more pathetic"
(Y/N) looked at Goo(Y/N) with a dead expression but didn't say a word. Goo(Y/N) sighed shaking her head, "if you continue to lay there, you'll truly be at fault" (Y/N)'s face hardened as she watched Goo(Y/N) begin to look at her nails, "causing even more damage than you did while chipped" she taunted. (Y/N) groaned taking one of the pillows and placing it over her head not wanting to deal with Goo(Y/N)'s nonsense.
"What can't stand hearing the truth, this is why I don't understand why it chose you. You expect everything to go easy for you since you had a couple of bad moments, you even expect me a being that was only created to help become a celestial being to treat you as a baby all sweet and kind"
