(Y/N) felt like she was being pulled in and out of sleep, she recalled someone pressing their lips gently on her cheek before disappearing. The warmth from beside her left with them but due to her willingness to sleep, she didn't pay attention and rolled to her side shutting her eyes once again allowing herself to slumber.

A couple of hours went by before a knock was then heard on the door, (Y/N)'s grunted tossing herself around the bed. She then paused and felt around her left where Marcy's warm body originally was supposed to be. She pushed herself up seeing with her eyes that Marcy had left her without much saying. She sighed believing the girl probably left for her room, did I snore during my sleep? How embarrassing, I knew I should've recorded myself sleeping to find out but now I know because of Marcy.

Another set of impatient knocks was heard, making (Y/N) groan into her pillow. (Y/N) wished she could say a couple of foul words as she took her time rolling herself off her bed. She stretched her arms waiting for the satisfying pop before dropping her feet on the cold tiled floor and making her way to the door. She yawned widely opening the door, Lady Olivia was standing with her hands pressed against each other in front of her waist. Compared to Lady Olivia, (Y/N) looked like a mess and it was already the afternoon.

Lady Olivia looked at (Y/N) up and down before shaking her head, she was making it obvious to (Y/N) that she didn't approve of her manners and behavior. She was wearing a silk pale yellowish pajama, and on the bottom of the button-up shirt had the logo, NW for her last name. It must've been the fact that she wasn't wearing a bra or the fact that a few buttons were unhooked due to Marcy moving around during the night.

(Y/N) rolled her eyes making the Lady gasp, "Dr. (Y/N) I think it would be better if you learned manners for the reputation of the king and his kingdom" Instead of giving her a witty insult, (Y/N) paused looking away from the offended newt in front of her. She didn't want the king to take offense or get looked down upon for having her as a guest, "alright I'll clean up in a bit what's the reason for your lovely arrive?"

Lady Olivia smiled believing she has shown (Y/N) the light, "the King has requested for you in the royal library"

(Y/N) nodded knowing that she had to start helping around the castle eventually, "would that be all?"

Lady Olivia nodded with a cocky smile; it was obvious to (Y/N) that she was thinking highly of herself at the moment. Not wanting to see her anymore as well as waste any more time, (Y/N) gave the newt an awkward wave before closing the door.

She leaned on the door and slid down to the floor with her knees up, sighing she turned to the dress she had worn last night. It was beautiful and one of a kind, she grew sour the more she looked at it, and she then muttered into her arm, "I used to be a fashion icon, frogs in Amphibia were willing to pay me for my designs. Now I'm nothing but a lousy inventor with no hobbies" She pulled herself off the floor, I shouldn't waste time lazing around I could be inventing and creating life!

Quickly she changed into her overalls, filling her bag with her goggles and some of the tools from the drawers since the only reason Andrias would call her. She left her chamber, fixing her hair into a tight bun while walking to the library. Once inside the library, she looked around seeing only Andrias with a couple of empty cups of coffee right beside him. She guessed it was most likely Marcy's doing but since she doesn't know the King's appetite, she slightly doubted it.

"(Y/N) so glad to see you, I've heard so many new and good things," he said placing the book down that was in his hand as well as taking off his glasses. "First the red velvet ube frosting cupcakes, you get so many points for those from Marcy. She wouldn't stop speaking about them that I had to get someone to bring her a few from the batch you left yesterday" (Y/N) blushed taking the sit to the right of him, it felt like she had to break her neck to look at him listening to him continue, "And can I say I'm so glad the date went well, I had to request Lady Olivia to dress Marcy up and even suggested the restaurant" (Y/N) tried to speak, tried to interrupt the spouting King. Knowing she wasn't going to get a single word out she began looking down at the table, fidgeting with the hook for her overalls.
