Chapter 32

We all arrived at the doctor's office and I could tell that Jace was excited since he couldn't sit still while we sat in the waiting room. But that scene was over so we sat in the room waiting for the doctor to come in.

But as we sat in the waiting room I talked to a lady there who was close to the amount of months I was pregnant but her belly was much smaller then mine. She was of course taller and is only expecting one child while I was short and expecting four.

Then I felt Ross' hand squeeze mine "Its okay babe" He said with a smile and with that angelic face of his I was fine. I was okay and I knew I was worrying over foolish things. For example the idea of me giving birth right here in this room or that something was wrong with my children, but I read somewhere that these are normal thoughts of an expecting mother.

"Mother are we finding out what they are?" Jace asked as he looked at my belly as if he was trying to see where each one was placed.

I chuckled softly "Yup we are going to see how many girls or boys we are all expecting" I said looking at Ross.

He chuckled "Imagine all of them being girls and they just happen to look like you, Jace here has a lot of protecting to do" Ross smiled as he brought Jace in for a hug.

I looked at my two men "Or they turn out all boys and just happen to look like you, Jace has to handle that" I said looking at the green eyed boy.

"Well I think there would be two boys and two girls" He smiled showing off his teeth and dimples on his chin.

Little Jace had everything I wished a child had. From his mixture of blonde with brown hair to his amazing personality. He was a perfect combination of me and Ross and I was completely in love with them.

At that moment the doctor came in through the door with a wide smile "Hello Lynch family" he said as he shook hands with Ross then with me "I see you have a new member in the family" he said while looking at Jace.

"Yeah he is our special boy" I said as I smile seeing Jace.

He extended his arm out for the doctor to shake his hand "Hey my name is Jace" He says with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Jace" The doctor shook his hand then came up to the monitor "So how have you been this past month?" He asked in a serious tone.

I put a hand over my belly "Good, its actually been a pretty smooth pregnancy" I said with a smile.

Those stories that say that when pregnant women get morning sickness and vomit every morning or can't stand the smell of food, I am the complete opposite. I have only woken up a few times where I had the urge to throw up but other then that the only thing that is normal with my pregnancy is the stretch marks on my body.

"That's really good. At this rate mothers with more then two children in their bellies are begging to be able to have the children soon. Well today we will see how they are growing and hope to identify their sex"

I laid down on the table and he hands me a sort of blanket since I was wearing a dress and I used it to cover my bottom half. I felt the cold jelly go on my belly and then I look at the monitor hoping to see all four children.

"Alright Jasmine here we go" He says as he places the scanner on me and I hear the multiple heart beats. I felt the same emotion from the first time, tears in my eyes and my heart being warmed.

Right there on the screen I saw the four little angels who owned my heart "They are so beautiful" I mumbled as I felt my words get choked by my tears.

The doctor smiled as he looked at the screen "Looks like everything is going alright and it seems as if they are all healthy" He then moves the scanner around and a frown took his face "All except this one, the runt, if you want to call it that" He sighs.

"What? The runt?" Ross asks almost panicking at the name.

"It's the smallest one in the belly now, I mean he's okay but just a little smaller then the rest" He says as he keeps moving the scanner.

I smiled as I heard that sentence "It's a boy?" I asked as I felt my hand cover my mouth.

"Yep you have..." The doctor kept scanning "You have from what this says is that one boy and one girl, the others are hidden very well" He said as he kept trying to look for a solution but couldn't find one.

I smiled with just knowing that "Thank you doctor" I said as he handed me a towel to clean my belly of the jelly.

"It's always my pleasure and to inform you about the labor I feel like you will end up giving birth at around these estimates maybe next month. After that, your pregnancy can be taken as a risk for both you and the fetuses"

I look at both Jace and Ross "Okay. So now you know Ross when to come visit again to be here for the birth of your children, a month from now" I said with a smile as I stood up from the table smoothing out my dress.

Ross chuckles softly "Yeah I wouldn't want to miss it" He says as he grabbed my hand and put his hand on my back to help me with support.

"And by the size of it, maybe a natural birth wont be helpful and c section is going to help" The doctor says as he rubs my belly "But if it is possible, we will try natural, okay?"

I feared those words that I couldn't give a natural birth but if it meant that I couldn't have all my children safe I would go take the risk of having a c section for them. "I understand" I said softly.

"Okay Jasmine take care and Ross take care of her. Jace I need you to be a good big brother" The doctor says before with a smile before saying good bye.

I smiled as we walked to the car "So Jace you happy that you saw your little siblings?" I asked as I got comfortable in the passenger seat.

"Yeah, I'm excited to see them" He says with a huge smile.

I felt the exact same way and finally all the puzzle pieces were going together. This was going to be my life and I didn't mind it at all.
