Chapter 56

Ross P.O.V

Since breaking the deal with our old manager R5 has been doing well without them. But the thing is that we are booming like crazy right now and it is driving me crazy, seems like we are busier without our manager. Saying that this is better is an not the exact word.

I really rather prefer being with Jasmine and the kids sitting on the couch watching movies endlessly. I even saw on my twitter pictures of her with a couple of fans in a store. I really do enjoy seeing them get along with her since she is such a huge part of my life.

"Hey Ross we should go to a bar after this magazine interview" Rocky says as he sits on the couch texting on his phone.

I look at him and shrug "You never invite me anywhere, so why should I go?" I ask raising an eyebrow. Usually it was always me and Rocky going our own ways an we hung out usually with family. So him asking me to a bar sounds strange to me.

He giggles like a little girl and smiles wide "Well at a meet and greet I met this amazing girl who is just amazing. She is everything I want in a girl so perfect" he says.

I smile at him "Well why don't you just go by yourself?" I ask rolling my eyes.

"That's the thing! I'm scared I'm going to mess something up with her! Like what I'm going to say to her, how I should dress or how I should act with her" He says leaning back on the couch and lets out a deep sigh.

I sigh and chuckle "Let me teach you on the ways of love" I said as I sit up and smile.

He rolls his eyes "Ross you got lucky, you could barely talk a girl!" He laughs like crazy "I might as well go to Riker about girls even though he is donating his baby gravy to a lesbian couple for a baby" he says with a smile.

"He told you about that?" I ask thinking only me and Jasmine knew. Maybe we were the last people to know, but who knows what runs through Riker's mind.

"Yeah he told everyone in the band about it yesterday. He asked us not to tell our parents cause he is scared of their reactions. I mean I understand his decisions he really can't find someone right for him" Rocky says as he plays with the throw pillow.

I sigh "That's the thing Riker is such a good guy and he doesn't look bad, he had girlfriends but he can't seem to keep them longer then a month" I said thinking about what could be wrong with my brother since he seem to be the ideal guy for girls.

Rocky stares at me and sits up "Yeah um Riker is sure having trouble with girls" he says biting on his bottom lip "I wonder when that girl from the magazine is coming cause I have a date after this" he says looking at the time.

Then at the exact time a girl walks in with the rest of the band. She was short, and had very big eyes. "Hey guys sorry I'm late, you know traffic" she says with a wide smile.

We all nod "It's alright don't worry" Riker says with a smile. "Just as long as you fulfill your interview it's okay" he smiles wide.

"Thanks so I have here a list of questions that I want to ask you; so my first question is why did you end your deal?" she asks with a soft voice.

"So the main reason was because we were just not happy with how many tours they were putting on us. Like we enjoy traveling and meeting the fans but when you have a tour like all the time, it get tiring" Rydel says before she rests her head on Ellington's shoulder.

"Also since I was trying to get days to be with my family but they were always failing on it. I have kids to share memories with and a wife to be with" I said with a wide smile.

She nods her head and smiles "That's adorable and Riker I have a question for you. We have notice that you haven't had a girlfriend for a few years now, why is that?"

Riker chuckles nervously and clears his throat "Well the thing is I haven't found someone who makes me feel good about being with them. I guess you could say I found it with someone who I really grew to love, and still love now, but I let them go so I just want to be me right now" he says biting his lip.

I feel bad for him and feel like a terrible brother since I didn't knew he felt this way. He has been through so much but finding a relationship for him that felt right was a hard thing for him, but its a hard thing for all of us.

The girl stares at him and frowns "I'm sorry" she says quietly before going back to her notebook "So do we have any new music to expect from you guys?" she asks.

I look at the others but they kept looking at me "Well I have been writing some songs and we actually have been performing them and they sound good. The thing is we don't know if the fans will like it since it really isn't what we normally play" I said playing with my fingers.

"Well I think they would like to hear them, its always good to change it up a little" the girl smiles as she writes my words in her notebook.

I nod my head and look at Rocky who was jumping up and down in his seat, excited little thing for his date. I chuckle softly at him and put my attention back on the interviewer.

"So we have these questions from the viewers who are asking this one famous question Rydel and Ellington when are you going to tie the knot?" the girl asks with a smile and laughs.

Rydel blushes like crazy before hiding her face in Ellington's neck "Oh my" she laughs.

He sits there smiling wide "I don't know actually but it's a nice thought. I mean it would be a nice thing and I do love her so much but with everything going on right now, marriage is still isn't on my list" He says with a shrug.

"We all know they will get married but who knows when" Rocky chuckles as he pokes Rydel's side.

She jumps and smiles "I guess we could one day but it isn't a thing that is always on the top of our heads" she smiles a little. "I love my little teddy bear and I think we are just fine right now" she nods her head.

Ellington nods his head "Yeah and I have one question to ask since we are being interviewed: guys can I have your blessing?" he asks us as he turns to look at us.

I sit up and look at him "Ellington Ratliff what are you doing?" I ask tilting my ead to the side. I was so confused on what was going on around me, it went from a simple interview to this blessing thing.

"I want the brother's blessings to propose to your sister, I ask your father and he is fine with it" He says with a shrug and smiles wide.

Rydel makes him look at her "This isn't funny El, tell me you're kidding" she says with wide eyes before she cups her mouth.

He gets down on one knee and pulls out a small box "Rydel I would've loved to have taken you to dinner or taken you on a boat ride but when I heard that question I couldn't wait anymore. I've been waiting for three years to give you this ring, its made especially for you and it's one of kind, just like you" He says opening the box to reveal the ring "I want to make you laugh every morning, to be the one by your side everyday and to have kids with you, I want you to marry me, so will you marry me?" he asks with a smile.

Rydel falls to her knees next to him and nod her head "Yes you ginger fool" she says with a chuckle as she hugs him tight.

I smile wide at this since I got to experience this moment with them. This was a moment that was made for history, the ones to keep close to us. Memories that just can't leave us alone, they stay deep in our hearts. Memories are treasured moments.
