Chapter Six

•╚════◄░░░░░░►════╝ •

"..." Izuku and All Might stared at Dawn with a nervous expression as the girl awaited for Izuku to answer her question with a raised brow. All Might sighed as he placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder.

"Look young one, there's a lot to say about this situation but it's correct...I am All Might and Young Midoriya will be my disciple." Toshinori explained and watched as Dawn's expression changed from confusion to completely blank and he sweatdropped from seeing it.

"Deadass? You don't look like him, you're scrawny as fuck." Dawn bluntly said and Izuku gasped in shock and reached out to Dawn to grab her shoulders.

"Dawn! Don't be mean! And he's telling you the truth! Take back what you said to him!!" Izuku shook Dawn back and forth to the point a dazed look appeared on her face.

"Young Midoriya, it's fine!" Toshinori chuckled nervously and pulled Izuku away giving the chance for Dawn to snap out her dazed state.

"Damn Zu, fuck.. now I believe ya." She muttered and rubbed her temples to sooth the dizzy feeling she felt before she shot a playful glare towards the green haired boy.

"Didn't have to shake my damn brains out, I probably lost some more brain cells!"

"M—my bad... I didn't mean too." Izuku apologized and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, Dawn rolled her eyes as she scoffed at him.

"So, how did ya end up like this?" Dawn asked motioning towards Toshinori's scrawny form with a hand on her hip.

"It would be best if we went somewhere more private." Toshinori suggested. "That's fine with me." Dawn nodded and followed after him once he turned around to began walking to the destination he had in mind.

'I wonder how Dawn knowing All Might's secret will turn out...' Izuku silently trailed behind them losing himself in his thoughts

"The fuck happened to this beach?" Dawn asked once Toshinori had brought them to a beach but it wasn't your average beach. It had junk everywhere piling up in the shore.

"People started to use this beach as a junk yard but after Young Midoriya finishes his training this beach should be back to its original glory." Toshinori informed as he walked near the small clearing the junky beach had.

Sighing, Toshinori turned to the two teens who were waiting for him to talk —well mostly Dawn, since Izuku knew about his situation— and mentally prepared himself for the questions she may ask.

"To answer you're question from earlier, I had gotten injured really bad from a tough battle I went through and so my original form timing got limited to a certain number of hours per day. If I over-exhaust myself, the timing cuts even shorter, and I suffer from coughing, bleeding, and pain." Toshinori finished explaining his situation with another sigh and waited for her to start asking questions.

"...Damn, that's fucked up."

Toshinori's eyes widen, not expecting that to be her response and covered up his surprise with a awkward chuckle. "No questions?" He asked and Dawn shook her head.

"Asking questions takes up too much time and sides' it ain't my business to really ask. Though I only have one question since Zu is wrapped up in this mess." Dawn shrugged her shoulders before crossing her arms over her chest.

"How is Zu going to be your disciple? I know he told you that he doesn't have a quirk, so tell me how."

This was the question he was mostly expecting and he smiled softly as he placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder.

"I've decided to pass my quirk down to Young Midoriya in order for him to become the hero he has always desired. After seeing him bravely act to save his friend despite the lack of power, it reminded me of why I became a hero and I shouldn't have never crushed his dream of becoming a hero."

Dawn blinked as she processed Toshinori's words with another blank expression on her face. 'All Might... I don't think you should've said the last part...' Izuku sighed nervously at his explanation and prayed Dawn wouldn't release her wrath on the pro hero.

"...You crushed his dream?! The fuck you mean by that?! Did you tell him he couldn't become a hero when he asked you?! Don't you know he's your number one fan!!" Dawn shouted and clenched her fists tightly, while she gave a small but hard glare to the pro hero who just stared at her in complete surprise, not knowing how to respond.

"Dawn! It's okay now! Calm down, okay?!" Izuku reassured and let out a sigh of relief when he saw Dawn take a deep breath. "Fine, but I'm warning ya, don't ever say anything discouraging to Zu." She warned and Toshinori nodded as he stepped forward.

"I promise, but have something to ask of you. Will you keep my situation a secret?"

"Yeah, I won't tell anyone. You have my word." Dawn smiled softly as she took Toshinori's hand in hers, Toshinori smiled as well as they shook hands firmly before letting go.

"Well Zu, I gotta get going. The brats are probably home already making a ruckus and I'm not getting in deep shit because of them. I'll see you at school tomorrow, alright?" Dawn gave Izuku a small hug before heading off in the direction towards her home.

"See you tomorrow!" Izuku yelled out towards her retreating form and smiled at seeing her wave at him which caused him to wave back even though he knew she couldn't see it.

"You have a very good friend, I can tell she has a pure heart." Toshinori complimented and patted Izuku on the back with an approving nod.

"Yeah, I do." Izuku's smile had gotten bigger as he continued to watch Dawn's form get further and further away until she was no longer visible.
