Chapter Twenty

"Isn't that Yoko fighting that hand villain? And that huge snake, is it her quirk?"
Izuku who made it to shore along with his classmates, Mineta Minoru and Asui Tsuyu, was quick to snap his gaze towards the central plaza just to widen his eyes in shock at seeing that it was his childhood best friend fighting the hand villain.
"Dawn?! Why is she alone fighting that villain? What happened to Aizawa-sensei?!" Izuku was quick to get out to water and was about to run over towards her but was stopped as a hand grabbed onto his wrist.
"Midoriya are you insane?! Remember we are only here to see how things are going, alright?" Mineta whispered but Izuku shook off his grip not content with leaving Dawn to fight by herself.
"Yes I know, but it doesn't sit right with me leaving her to fend on her own. I know Dawn is capable of fighting but still.." Izuku trailed off as his gaze was trained onto Dawn.
"Even so Midoriya, Yoko seems fine as of right now but on the other hand we should help Aizawa-sensei get somewhere safer. He's out in the open and it won't be long till the other villains gain consciousness. Kero." Tsuyu pointed out as her gaze fell on Aizawa's beaten up form. Izuku nodded, reluctantly taking his gaze off of Dawn's fighting form and followed after Tsuyu.
"You guys are crazy..!" Mineta complained, his eyes looking back and forth from the unconscious villains littered that the ground to Dawn and the huge snake.
"Shut up before you attract unwanted attention to us. Kero." Tsuyu snapped at the purple haired midget and was successful in making him quiet. The three students was quick to make their way to Aizawa and when they approached him they repressed the urge to gasp in horror at seeing his appearance.
"..O—oh my god..Aizawa-sensei is hurt badly.." Izuku knelt down to the older man and reached out a shaky hand to grab onto his shoulder. His whole body was trembling from the sight of blood all around his teacher.
When suddenly the ground shook as the Nomu was thrown a few feet away from where they stood. Silky had swatted the Nomu away and was quickly slithering towards the mutant.
"We need to get going!"
"Quick! Grab onto Aizawa-sensei!" Izuku demanded and all three of them grabbed onto Aizawa before quickly trying to get away from the area as fast as they could.
Now, where Dawn stood a few feet from the hand villain, she glanced over towards where Silky was and could see she still was putting up a fight against the Nomu but in the mix she saw three other people carrying Aizawa away. Narrowing her eyes, she then realized that those three people were her classmates and among them was Izuku.
'Why is Izuku there? And so close to where Silky is fighting that damn mutant?!'
"Your focus should be on me brat." He spat out as he too then followed Dawn's line of sight before he smirked.
"Are they your friends? Should I go send my Nomu after them?" He taunted as his smirk deepened once Dawn looked back at him with a dark glare.
"If you lay a hand on him, I'll fuck you up so bad your ashy ass wouldn't be fuckin' recognizable!"
He let out a chuckle before calling out to the Nomu.
"Nomu! Forget about that stupid reptile beast and attack those kids! Now!"
Dawn's eyes widen in horror as the Nomu landed a strong punch on Silky, it successfully throwing the reptile back but it caused the snake to disburse into black gooey shadows from the force of the punch. The shadows then retreated back into Dawn's shadow, the Nomu then diverted its attention to Izuku, Tsuyu, and Mineta.
"No!"
She wasted no time in sprinting over to them hoping to reach them before the Nomu. She was stopped as the other villains had woke up blocking off her way.
"Hold her off until my Nomu finishes off those brats!" The hand villain ordered before making his way over towards the three teens, Dawn scowled at seeing the villains smile crookedly at her and wasted no time in beating them down.
"Outta my damn way you motherfuckers!"
"No can do girlie—ack!" The villain was cut off as Dawn's delivered a strong kick to his jaw. 'I need to get to Izuku before they do! But these shitheads keep coming!' As Dawn continued to fight through the villains she couldn't help but feel fear and worry seep through her body the more the villains kept coming at her.
"What do we do?! They're coming at us!" Mineta yelled frantically, fear coating his body as he saw the Nomu and the hand villain approaching them, fast.
"Tsuyu!" Izuku yelled as the hand villain was quick to touch her face when he approached them but nothing happened. Aizawa used the last bit of his strength to activate his quirk, canceling out the villain's quirk.
"You're really are so cool..." He mumbled taking a glance at Aizawa before Izuku used his quirk to punch the hands villain but as the smoke cleared, the Nomu was in front Izuku protecting the said villain.
"You're pretty powerful, this smash of your's that is. Are you one of All Might's disciples? It doesn't matter as I'm done with you now." He said before the Nomu grabbed onto Izuku's arm with the intentions of hurting him but Tsuyu stuck out her tongue as the hands villain reached for her and Mineta.
When suddenly the front entrance doors were slammed open stopped everyone's movements.
"Have no fear students. I am here!"
All Might's booming voice entered the building which had the young students letting out a breath of relief while the villains smirked.
