Chapter Three
•╚════◄░░░░░░►════╝ •
The bell rung indicating school was over and soon everyone piled out of the class until it was just Izuku, Dawn, and Katsuki as well his goons who were still in the classroom.
Standing up from her seat, Dawn sighed as she stretched her her arms and looked over at Izuku who was packing his things up before his hand landed on his Hero Book. He started to jot down a few things down.
Dawn's demeanor changed as Katsuki and his goons approach her and Izuku with smirks on their faces, she scowled at seeing the smirks on their faces.
"Oi, Deku and Yoko, we're not done from earlier." Katsuki said as he snatched the book from Izuku's hands.
"Hey! Give that back!" The green haired boy demanded.
"Hey, what's that Katsuki?" One of Katsuki's goons pointed out.
Katsuki skimmed through the pages before scoffing. "Really Deku? This is useless." He burned the book before tossing it out an open window and placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder.
"You can't become a hero you're quirkless!"
"Fuck off." Dawn slapped his hand off of Izuku's shoulder and she glared at the ash blonde who was a few feet taller than her.
"C'mon Zu, let's get outta here." She grabbed his hand and roughly pushed passed Katsuki and his goons, dragging Izuku out the classroom before both of them stopped in their tracks as Katsuki opened his mouth once more.
"Deku.....There might actually be another way, just pray you'll be born with a quirk in the next life and take a swan dive off the roof—!" Katsuki was cut off as Dawn quickly turned around and stomped up to him, before she grabbed his head and pulled his head down to meet her knee in the middle. She successfully kneed him in the face which caused his nose to gush out blood.
"Fuck!" Katsuki screamed in pain and pushed Dawn away to cup his bleeding nose but that didn't stop Dawn. She pushed him roughly, the force of her push had him tumbling to the floor.
"Oi! You bitch!"
Dawn turned to the right and dodge goon #1's punch before retailing with her own, her punch sending him to the floor. Ducking under goon #2's punch, she uppercut him before swiping his feet from under him and he fell to the floor.
"You're so fucking dead!" Katsuki yelled once he got up from the floor and lunged at Dawn but missed as Dawn stepped to the side and tripped him. He managed to stop himself from falling to the floor again as he faced Dawn again and threw a punch.
Dawn hissed lightly in pain at Katsuki's punch landing on her face before they were both fist fighting with each other. Izuku who was watching the whole thing in shock finally acted and ran to Dawn.
"D—Dawn! Kacchan! Please stop fighting!" Izuku yelled as he struggled to pull Dawn's form off of Katsuki's but he managed to separate the two.
"What's your problem huh?!" She yelled as she struggled to get free from Izuku's surprisingly strong grip. Katsuki just growled as his friends held him back as well.
"What the fuck is your problem?! What's wrong with you?! You just told him to commit suicide! What type of nigga does that?! That's a low fuckin' blow and you a lame ass nigga!" Dawn yelled as she still struggled to get free but stopped struggling when she felt Izuku trembling against her.
"Rot in hell asshole." She spat at him with pure disgust and anger swirling in her pink eyes before gently breaking free from Izuku's grip. She grabbed onto to Izuku's hand and left the classroom.
Once they were outside the school, Dawn turned around and hugged Izuku tightly burying her face in his green locks.
"Please... Don't listen to that asshole, I wouldn't know what to do if my best friend committed suicide cause of an asshole. I'd probably kill him, so please don't listen to him." She mumbled and felt Izuku slowly hug her back.
"I—I promise I won't...I wouldn't want Kacchan's hero career to suffer if I did listen to him." Izuku muttered as he shed a few tears before Dawn pulled back to stare into his emerald eyes.
"Good and don't cry... let your tears be of joy when you achieve your dream alright?" She gave him a small smile as she used her sleeve to wipe his tears away.
"A—alright." Izuku smiled back at her and Dawn grabbed Izuku's hand and intertwined them. "Let's get some candy alright? Candy sounds awesome right now." She suggested as they began walking away from the school.
"Yeah!" He said before stopping next to the pond. "My notebook..." He fishes his notebook out of the water and frowns at the state it's in.
Dawn frowns at this too, she didn't like her best friend like this, she likes his jolly, cheery, and adorable self. "Come on, candy is waiting!" She said with a smile and pulled him along.
"Right.." Izuku forces out a smile which Dawn obviously sees through it but she pushed it aside as she looked up ahead.

"Did you see the look on his face when I kneed him? It was priceless!"
Izuku sheepishly snorted at Dawn, who was talking about the fight she had with Katsuki in a way to lighten the foul mood.
"Thank you Dawn." He smiled.
"What for?"
"For cheering me up and always believing in me." He said. "Always will." She beamed as they stepped into an underpass walkway towards the candy shop.
As they were about the walk through, Dawn heard what sounded like rushing sludge behind them. Izuku and Dawn turned around just as a giant sludge monster appeared who bubbled up from the sewer manhole covers on the ground.
"A villain!" Izuku gasped.
"A perfect skin suit for me to hide in!" He looked at Izuku with an evil grin before his gaze trailed over towards Dawn's form.
"But I won't be needing you though." Dawn dodged the wave on sludge landing on the opposite side of the villain.
"Tough one huh?" The sludge villain smirked as he sent another wave of sludge at the girl and successfully landed a hit on the girl. Dawn grunted in pain once she hit the wall before cursing to herself once she heard Izuku cry out in panic as the sludge villain grappled him and started to force himself down Izuku's throat.
"Don't make me use my quirk!" Dawn stood up but her head throbbed in pain. "Let him go...!" She yelled as she tried to run towards her best friend but stumbled. Her eyes drooping as she fought the urge to sleep, her vision was blurry but she saw someone appeared and say something but before she blacked out she heard a yell.
