After the reset, Alex kept a few abilities he had from his Hope God self and basic self. He kept his bone and vine magic, his superhuman attributes, although they were a fraction of what the once were, and the intelligence of all the souls who were with him. This led to Alex in the new timeline being alienated from his fellow humans. That didn't stop him from living his life.

3 years after the reset, Alex sadly had to go through primary school again. Due to the fact of a human having the power to alter time, it would get people killed. Especially Frisk, who he had grown to think of as a sister. At this point in time, Alex was walking with Frisk coming back from school since they had identities to protect. The time also managed to be older that the one Alex was born in. So he wasn't used to the technology at the moment.

Alex: I hate this. I payed my dues. 9 years of my life. I was out of school. Now I'm here learning about long division. Then I kept my smarts from my Hope God self. So now everything is even easier!

Frisk: Come on Alex, It's not that bad. You already know all this anyway. Besides, if you don't want to go to school you can just hang out in the underground.

Alex: I'd love to but that place isn't exactly the fondest of memories to me.

Frisk: I can believe that... if I can ask, did your soul reset?

Alex: It did. Im still somewhat determined I guess. I can even summon the weapons. It's not like I have some fight to try and win though. Not anymore.

Alex summoned his golden sickle and his red knife, balancing off his fingertips, soon to disappear.

There was a small silence until Alex broke it by grabbing frisk, carrying her and running.

Alex: WE'RE JUMPING INTO MT. EBBOT AGAIN! HEADFIRST!

Frisk: Alex! You play around too much!

Alex: What? Can't your "found family" brother take his "found family" sister for a piggyback ride?

They both laughed while Alex was running to god knows where.

Moral of the Story: Don't trust previous gods who consider you family.
